Don't get me started about Aphex Twin. BTW, he's Welsh/English more than anything else. Born in Limerick, to Welsh parents if I'm not mistaken and he grew up mostly in Cornwall, which I believe he still lives there? Explains the names of some of his tracks like Cornish Acid etc.

I listen to loads of UK artists. No Happy Hardcore I'm afraid. I have to agree with W-J-F, I think it's terrible. I also think that it's the sort of music a teenager would listen to and kind of feel embarassed about when they get older. But hey, I'm not one to judge.

So, UK artists, I listen to or have listened to alot:

Aphex Twin, AFX, Gak (suprise, suprise)
Led Zeppelin
Cream
Yes
Queen
The Beatles
Boards of Canada
Oasis ( I was 13)
Blur (when I was 13-14)
Luke Vibert


Loads of UK Jungle/Drum & Bass and loads of UK Dubstep etc.

I listen to a fair bit of english music, but one stand out in recent years for me is an artist by the name of David Ford. He is a one man band. His music is made live by recording an instrument riff, then looping it, then moving onto the next instrument, and builds layers up like that, singing in between. Its done as a one camera, one shot take, incredible talent is all I can say. (note, it takes him a little while to walk into his studio from outside, but its worth it)

I'm also digging another band called Nizlopi, they do some nice stuff too.

By loads who does that classify as? I never heard of him so he must not be that popular if "loads" like him. By the Or anyone else I hope I'm saying I don't like it and don't see why anyone else would... As in I think it's horrible.
