I'm not really sure if this gfoes here, but I have a request for a "play as" thing.

I'd like to be able to replace Niko's model with the model of F_Y_STREET_9. I'm not sure if that's possible, but considering all the other custom models and converted models there are for Niko it probably is. I hope I'm not being confusing, I tend to do that...

i got an idea: predator mod
~predator skin replace nikko skin(capable of switching vision modes, its 3rd person shooter like Predator: Concrete Jungle)
~laser cannon replace rocket launcher(when press right click to aim, targeting laser appear)
~combi stick replace baseball bat
~plasma gun replace shortgun(plasma gun as seen in AVP: Requiem)
~wristblades replace combat fighting(can block opponents)
~mines replace grenades/pipeboms

*i have think before bout aliens as cops but aliens holding guns & standing upright at the same time, plus driving around in cop cars will look silly. i think a mod is needed so the predator dont drive cars, they must be agile, fast, & capable of running long distance very fast & climb on tall building & jump from 1 building to another.

I just wish someone will make a mod so that we can have chase music...similar to LA Noire.
It could be when the radio is off and you are chasing someone during a mission or escaping the cops and a fitting/selected theme would play...like LA Noire which had no radio and instead background music.

I just wish that there could be something fitting for a chase if there is nothing on the radio.

I don't know if this will be possible as I have no knowledge in modding.

I have some ideas for a Claude (GTA III) mod for GTA IV, but I just have the ideas, not the skill to make it, so, if there is any modder(s) that have the skill to make it, please make it!

-It's a head replacement, with, either the *original *PC* version of *GTA III* Claude* |AND/OR| the new Claude Action Figure
-IF IT'S ALREADY POSSIBLE, make the original haircut, the haircut from the Action Figure, and a short hair/bald (so the hats work properly without his hair clipping out of it)
-Make it to fit the glasses and hats, or make the hats and glasses fit him
-IF IT'S ALREADY POSSIBLE, make his face fully functional (mouth moving, blinking)

is it possible to make a modification that would extend the options in multiplayer in Ballad of gay tony? For example - option for disabling blips in free mode and those circles above the players head? I think it would very improve the multiplayer experience - I mean make possibilities to act as a pedestrian, hide better etc. So is it a hard thing to do?

is it possible to modify GTA4 traffic AI so that it behaves like 3/VC/SA traffic does when you shoot at them?

in 3/VC/SA the AI traffic will (at least 75% of the time) immediately start speeding away from you when you shoot their car once or twice.
this makes it so that you can "create" your own personal mission or scenario. you can basically start a high-speed car chase any time you want with AI traffic. you could pretend like it's an actual street race or imagine that you are chasing them for some reason. all you had to do was pull up next to an AI vehicle shoot it one time. the driver almost always takes off like it's a drag race.

it was a fun a little gameplay mechanic to exploit.
but this doesn't really work in GTA4. at least not automatically like it did with 3/VC/SA.

in GTA4 most vehicles stop and the person gets out to run away.
this might be slightly more realistic (sort of) but it's also very boring.

can you make GTA4 traffic speed away when shot at?

Yeah, i know it's an old thread and all, but, my fav mod to have in GTA IV would be a rappeling mod, anybody thought of the same? It would be awesome to rapell from a heli or from a building, nice if somebody would take the challenge.

Hello to all, this is my first post and I am wondering, is there a mod that increases NPC crimes, such as being able to see an NPC running from cops or getting shot at? I've tried ambient wars and it wasn't exactly what I wanted also it didn't work very well

Someone please make a d3d9.dll compatible with nVidia optimus Notebooks like the author described in this thread about Skyrim ENB.

The vast mojority of Intel/nVidia laptops now have Optimus enabled. The wrapper version of ENB makes the game run at 5 fps, and the injector version doesn't do very much.
