I neglected a song but I was actively looking for a video I saw on MTV, but it's not on YouTube, sadly. At least I haven't dug it up with a search. SO, from the same band.... Rolling Stones.
This is a demo outtake of Let It Loose, from Exiles on Main Street...review;
I'll further edit with an opinion on above video <G> EDITing; OK, Richie Kotzen was most notable for his playing in Poison for a time, it was not at the height of their career...however, he was kicked from the band for sleeping with someone else's girl. A similar situation happened with a local band at the time I knew them well.
I haven't followed Poison's career too closely. I'm a casual enjoyer of their music. Can't say I'd heard that one before. For a first timer, sometimes the studio track is a better representation. For me, the live sound loses some of the song tightness that the studio captures. Most often a live performance is very loose, and more fluid of course.

One should hear the vocal version of Let It Loose as well, I have a box set with all the outtakes stuff, I got it on at the moment, it's a nice Stones collective. I'll let someone comment on the song you picked, but for the record, I wanted to interject that Eric Clapton's other band had a hit with Bell Bottom Blues... One I still love to hear. Though he covered Cocaine (John Cale <?> track) in the 1970s but he, himself struggled with it, glad he was able to get off the drug.
yes!!! Lotus Child is pretty dope man....i just have a hard on for most of our local acts...you live in the city?
nonetheless: catchy, poppy, and decent lyrics.
6 and one half/10
i'm f*cking in love with this song/album/band. perverse lounge tunes. kinda like the muzak they'd play in hell's waiting room...y'know, before the eternal damnation...

No, Lotus Child opened for another band in our town a while back. The Painted Birds, you actually may have heard of them too. Half the band is actually from my town, so it's always cool when they show up.
Was never much of a fan of music like this, sort of an 80s hair feel, and I wasn't expecting much from this when I clicked the link, but the opening riff was enough to hook me. I think the lead singer's voice is okay, but I definitely like the chorus. Hey, might even check this band out.
I'm not a fan of putting a numerical value to something as openly interpreted as music, but as the OP wishes: 8/10.

The only song I really like from this outfit, fronted by ex-Sex Pistol John Lydon.
