Good tool, it's very useful. However I can't seem to get plugins working correctly, I've got this code: http://pastebin.com/m464291a8In nointro.dll which I then put in the /plugins folder, but I get no message box. Here's my log: | QUOTE | 02/01/2009 09:23:34.734 Log started 02/01/2009 09:23:34.734 EnumProcessModules returned 38 modules 02/01/2009 09:23:34.734 GetModuleInformation Ok, baseAddress = 00400000 (00400000) 02/01/2009 09:23:34.734 Patching OK 02/01/2009 09:23:34.734 plugin loader: loaded 'nointro.dll' 02/01/2009 09:23:34.984 xlive_5000: XLiveInitialize 02/01/2009 09:23:34.984 xlive_51: XNetStartup 02/01/2009 09:23:34.984 xlive_1: XWSAStartup 02/01/2009 09:23:39.687 xlive_5005: XLiveOnCreateDevice 02/01/2009 09:23:39.687 xlive_5310: XOnlineStartup 02/01/2009 09:23:39.687 xlive_5270: XNotifyCreateListener (0x0000000000000001) 02/01/2009 09:23:39.687 xlive_5270: XNotifyCreateListener (0x0000000000000007) 02/01/2009 09:23:39.703 xlive_5262: XUserGetSigninState 02/01/2009 09:23:39.703 xlive_5263: XUserGetName (0, .. , 16) 02/01/2009 09:23:39.703 xlive_5263: XUserGetName (0, .. , 16) |
Seems LoadLibrary isn't doing what it's supposed to? MS suggests that you don't call it in DllMain, but I've called it there successfully before. EDIT: It's because when your calling LoadLibrary your only passing the name of the file, not the relative path. It works fine as long as I rename it to a .asi and put it in the main directory. | QUOTE (BlazeHoliday @ Jan 5 2009, 14:16) | listener where are you?
is it a possibility to make the xlive.dll use nocd as well?????? hehe |
Still trying to reproduce crash Yesterday, I bought new HDD, installed clean Vista ultimate 64, copy the game from the old HDD - and it works without any crashes. However, I get game crashed, when I tried to run it from the old HDD - with tracing enabled, UAC turned on and without right to write in the game folder. XLiveLess has been tested with "retail" Launcher and with RAZOR's one. Making no-dvd plugin is simple but illegal. | QUOTE (funk192 @ Jan 5 2009, 14:02) | | Can we at least enable LAN multiplayer mode? |
It's possible, but complicated enough. We can redirect all TCP/IP related functions (xlive_1..xlive_66) to WinSock32 (instead xlive), but all match-making functions (creating network game, finding host, etc) must be implemented from scratch
