| QUOTE (aacclapd @ Monday, Jul 30 2012, 00:18) | | one question: it is still necessary to convert png textures to dds files to prevent the decrease of the textures quality in the 1.1 version of open iv? |
Yes. | QUOTE (Blaster_nl @ Monday, Jul 30 2012, 00:40) | GooD, I have errors everywhere, even after the "hotfix". I already reinstalled.
EDIT: Nvm, only one img does this, don't know why. |
Do you still have errors with this img? If so, I need this img file. Yes, it's sounds weird.

Yes, it's sounds weird. | Nah, there was a fault in the IDE, which resulted in a error. This post has been edited by Blaster_nl on Monday, Jul 30 2012, 20:43

| QUOTE (GooD-NTS @ Monday, Jul 30 2012, 21:13) | Second hot-fix for OpenIV 1.1 is released. Run your OpenIV for getting update.
| QUOTE (jpm1 @ Monday, Jul 30 2012, 19:55) | i know you have lot of work with that tool . but may i ask for a stable wpl editor . i mean we badly need this , placement tool and placement editor are pretty buggy , wpl editing turns into an assault course each time . thanks again for open iv
edit : i was talking of the stream section essentially |
You can (must) use GIMS for WPL editing. Also you can use OpenIV's OPL format for fast WPL editing in notepad. |
man i don't have the 4000E 3Dmax . i'll try with notepad , i believe i haven't much the choice . thx EDIT : seems i didn't express myself correctly . what i would like to see implemented it's a stream section editor . WPL edition tools work fine with the global WPL but it's with the stream section that the things get complicated . btw , now we can see the wdd textures , i managed to finally remove sandbags lods that i had in the middle of the road for 2 monthes now , thanks EDIT 2 : ok latest build allows cars section editing great , thanks ! | QUOTE (DrDean @ Tuesday, Jul 31 2012, 03:03) | I'm getting this error after updating to the latest version and trying to import some openFormats.

Haven't touched the bones, and this imported fine yesterday.
Oops, nevermind, appears to be a GIMS error. | More then 48 bones. > More than 48 bones.
