The lasted version of OpenIV is making IMGv3 and RPFv2 archives is 100% same like Rockstar did.

Sometimes I may get a memory leak when exiting the tool, but most of the time no errors.

I tested old versions to see if the new version didn't work. I also wanted to see if the copy I had was corrupt, but none of the copies worked.

Edit mode is enabled. It acts like I can, but it just doesn't do anything. I haven't tested texture editor.

Ive modded the Xbox 360 version with this tool multiple times in the past and no problems. Others do the same and their fine. Something is wrong on my end. The issue occurs when I edit an RPF file, I get an endless loading screen going to maltiplayer. This has nothing to do with the patch, as single player works. I think this problem is only on GTA IV though. EFLC it seems to work because I recently replaced the timecyc files and it worked. But I understand it is made for PC.

I understand that it is the same format. I might try editing an img or a rpf and see if I can load MP.

There is a different tool you have to use to edit xtd, xpl, and sco. Note pad is used to edit the same files you can edit on PC with Note Pad. This can be used to inject the files in to the RPF/IMG.
@SbakingASS: Is it the loading screen going to MP or the initial one? Also are you doing it on Xbox 360, PS3, or PC? GTA IV, TLAD, or TBOGT?

@nkjellman, ShakingASS so if it won't work for xbox archives now, I can't do anything with this, because it work for PC fine.

Yeah, and it ain't worth the crap considering that it's way easier to modify resources on the PC version.

for placement search, you can see the placement of a single object, more at the same time would be nice .

We can change the models on Xbox, however it will not be released, me and Leon managed to do it months back before we stopped talking etc. I have a huge list of Documents of what we can, and cant do for GTA IV X360 the list was huge, I even remember we managed to stop being frozen by textures etc, model swapping....

Well it has done it if I mod the common.rpf, xbox360.rpf, and script_network.img. Ive done each separately. I think GTA IV may only have an issue with it but EFLC MP should be able to load. Also certain features on the Xbox and PS3 are desabled because those files are in a different compression format. The files are mainly model files, textures, basically the files that have to do with the map. EX: PC uses WFT, and thats what Open IV can open. It can't open XFT (Xbox 360) and CFT (PS3) files because there compressed differently. However I'm sure the private version of the tool can open and edit the files.

@Open IV team: I have two things I got to ask you.

1. I have asked before, and I know it is hard coded, but do you know any way to hack the height limit for aircraft. I want to raze it so its as high as TBOGT in IV and TLAD. This is for IV SA. So if you know anything, please tell me. Or if you know something about how to trick the game to use TBOGT's height limit data on IV and TLAD, that would be fine too.

2. I have a small request. Hopefully it wont take much time, and its possible if you have a private tool to do this. I was wondering if you could port the TBOGT vehicle models from TBOGT PS3 or TBOGT Xbox 360 to the PC. The reason being is the lights bug on the PC models for TBOGT. I know there are mods out there that fix it, however they have a camera bug where its slightly too low. The other thing is there is no proper APC model with the lights fixed. One mod didn't have it, and the other fixed it however the letters turned colors and looked washed out. The tank didn't look like the normal thing with working lights. If you do this that would be great. (If it takes too much time to do them all, but you might do one, the APC is first priority.)

The vehicles in WFT format, we can't edit it even on PC. So event if we can open consoles format (XFT, CFT) we still can't made new WFT.
I'm not sure but I don't see any bugs in TBOGT models.

Thanks. The bugs in the PC TBOGT vehicles is the cars lights don't work right.

Please do not discuss xbox360 modding here. OpenIV is made only for PC version of RAGE games. It's just a small side-effect that you can also use it for other platforms (Hope Rockstar will use deferent encryption key on each platform in Max Payne 3).

@GooD ~ They wont use a different version just a updated Rage engine. Nothing that special, so really the encryption key wont be different for each platform they will be the same, or whatever.
