First of all movies aren't smooth because of motion-blur but because they capture real life - which you kind of can compare to infinite frames per second. It's like if you have a video of a game (even without motion blur) @ 120fps and you convert it to 24fps, I'm pretty certain it would look a lot smoother than if it was originally captured at 24 fps. <- Kind of hard to explain but I hope you get the point.
Also a frame limiter only caps the fps so it can't go over 60 or 30 or whatever FPS. It can't limit the minimum FPS you get when your system isn't performing too well. |
you sir, talk like a fool. read up on the things you want to comment about if you are going to make it sound like you know what you're talking about. "movies don't use motion blur". lol. first of all, it's more complex than what you're trying to make sound trivial, second of all, motion blur is pretty much always used in one way or the other, third of all, the explanation you're giving has absolutely nothing to do with how movies or whatever look smooth, fourth of all, if no motion blur and other lightning techniques etc weren't used that i'm not going to go into here, movies would look like south park as far as "smoothness" go.

Without all lighting/post processing tricks movies would look like camel's sh*t
