Has anyone had the problem where the color of vehicles wouldn't change anymore when re-spraying it? It seems like it goes trough the colors from the carcols.dat line one by one and when it reaches the last one it doesn't start over from the beginning of the line but just uses the last color over and over...

Really f*cking annoying!

And btw., how come you could choose colors in SA (only in mod shops tough) and this is not possible in IV's pay 'n sprays? R* has the code for it from SA... It SUCKS driving in and out of pay 'n sprays over and over again until you have the color you want or get stuck at the last color from the carcols.dat line. A large part of the time ingame is spent trying to get the color you want for your vehicle.

R* pleaaaase fix this!

Although it is annoying not being able to choose a car's colour, I think that on scale of problems for this game your particular one is near the bottom. Once they fix the FPS dilemmas, the crashing, the controller issues, the funny textures and shadows, the random kicking in multiplayer, the memory leaks, the SecuRom issues, the windows live problems, the social club bugs etc then I'm sure this will be fixed

You're right, those issues should have higher priority right now since ALOT of people seem to have problems with them but this pay 'n spray thing should definitly be worked on once those issues are solved.

For me it's the most annoying thing on a perfectly working install of GTA IV. Other then the pay 'n spray thing I have no real complaints about the game at the moment.

Yeah I noticed this too. They kept saying I hope you like the new color and I'm going what new color? It's either the dark charcoal color or a dark red.

I allways tought it chose a color from the carcols.dat line for that vehicle randomly but now I believe the game reads carcols.dat lines from right to left and when it gets to the last color (on the left) it gets 'stuck'.

If there's no chance at a color picker (like mod shops in SA) it should at least be fixed to loop trough the carcols.dat line infinitly or choose a random color (tough should not choose the same color twice in a row).
