what do u think? GtaIV got good visual options? What else data files i can edit other than "Visualsettings.dat" ?

Ahhi!! Group: Members Joined: Jun 28, 2005	All depends on your GPU, I have 2 NVidia 8800 Ultras, where I can run the game alot smoother then these pics.

Just played-changed settings in visualsettings.dat. Bloom,dof ext. . And now i am seaching for other files that can effect visuals in game. Looking for a more experienced modder that can tell me what else files there are for visual settings i can work on them now.
Just learned "timecyc.dat" is another file. What else pls?

sure. But i need to change timecyc.dat weather-ligtning configs to make bloom/dof look better on sunny,extrasunny,foggy ext. Now it only looks good on rainy nights and other 1 . Its a pain to change and try them everytime. I ll give visualsettings.dat soon here. as i said it only looks good at rainy nights now

need to work on timecyc.dat alot....

high end PCs?? like IV was for low end PCs until now.

i dont think ppl will need mods that make the game run slower, dude

however i tried your stuff. im not sure it strained my PC any more than it usually is.

it's a nice effort. the second mod in this thread is better than the 1st one i think. in the 1st one at the beginning of the thread the morning time (around 11am) the pavement seemed to glow too much. not its a little better.

your mod seem to blur things out with the bloom enhancement or something. it's a little like pressing P.

but frankly i prefer the original way.

Habs fan, for about 2 weeks every year... Group: Members Joined: Jun 15, 2008	Alderny, what I would do (this is only based on my tastes, I'm sure you like your edit as it is and that's fine) is give the bloom a bigger radius and make it a bit less intense. To me that would look better, but to each his own.
