| QUOTE (deiviuxs @ Dec 15 2008, 18:58) | very sad..very sad indeed...patch #2 has to be bigger than ~30MB in order to fix issues like these...
P.S. did your new RAM gave you better performance? | yes it did! i can play without CacheBoost or Minimem and have all my textures! also changed out my CPU to a P4 Prescott 3.00GHz with 1mb L2 cache.. and im using the new 181.00 Forceware drivers, seem to be able to play pretty nice now. i have turned the gfx up to: 1024x768, Medium, Medium, Draw Distance at 0 (who needs it!), Detail Distance at 32, Vehicle Density at 5 (traffic is an issue during missions anyway), Shadows are at 0 (cant tell nor care). game is completely playable now, i average between 18 and 30 fps, usually in the mid-upper 20s. (and using Xfire's ingame FPS counter, my bro's Core 2 Quad, 4gigs RAM, GTX260 is reporting in the 20s on highest at 1440x900). it seems like in this game 20fps is actually 30, and 30 is more like 40 or 50.. anyway, sorry for the really late response!
