Im going to keep bumping this until mr rockstar notices that thers a massive f*cking problem. and the fact rockstar let this happen in the first place is ridiculous considering is SOOOOOO Easy to be fixed. just not by any of us. unless anyones up to the challenge of scripting a direct x file that over-rides the z bias. WHY DIDN'T ROCKSTAR DO THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SOOO MUCH EASIER FOR YOU TO DO IT NOW WE HAVE TO DO IT THE HARD WAY! f*ckers... i don't know a single game that dosent compensate for z bias in certain graphics cards. Its just how our series preforms and reads things differently. not matter what you do to settings it wont change it. we need a patch for this.

I'm Bumping this sh*t again to remind Rockstar what a pathetic half job they did on optimizing the z bias for certain sensitive GPU's which really i have never EVER seen before on such a large scare with ONE exception in which a patch was released the day after release to fix it. and they sencerly apologized about it. i hope your happy with yourself mr rockstar.

And in true form. Rockstar continues to ignore this post. Thanks for hating on a whole series of graphics cards. thats alot of people your upsetting.

This problem is, "doing my head in". I've tried so many different settings in both CCC and GT4 itself. No difference.

Patched and latest drivers obviously didn't help either.

When will R* Toronto do something about this? Are you out there developers?

Hell yeh, i didn't even realise the shadows on the ground were messed up untill I saw this.. I just though its was some wierd half breed type, but the things with the posters and building shadows and stuff takes the PISSSSSSS, especially when it happens with cards in the mid-distance..!!!

Wow..its alot more widespread than i originaly tought...i tried playing it for an hour earlier...its better at nightime and less noticeble if you turn up saturtation and press "P"

Eh... It's not just an ATI problem I guess, I also have it with my 8500GT... Or well, atleast I did... Didn't annoy me THAT much, so I ignored it. But I think I still have it...

I think that's what the blur effect is for when you press P. The console had that effect enabled permanently, it blurred out the rough edges and made the shadows a lot less grainy. Though the shadows on your pictures seem a lot more messed up... try the blur effect. I hate it too as it basically blurs out the whole game and its textures, but it's there for the simple reason of making the game seem less rough than it already is.

If you're shaking your head while reading this because you've already tried what I said, just keep hoping for Rockstar to fix it.
