Thanks for the info. I have been reading that a lot of other people are finding it slow. I did just download the new Nvidia drivers for GTA 4 that may help.
AMD FX-60 2GB Ram Nvidia GTX 260 (overclocked as high as I can get it) Vista 32bit and trying XP 32bit <- Gaming only, no other programs installed
The autoconfig graphic settings are pretty low, and sometimes has a choppy framerate when driving. I wanted to try XP to see if its any difference.

Your processor is a huge bottleneck especially since it's single core
The FX-60 is dual core. I have it at 2.92ghz, the fastest I can get it on my A8N-SLI motherboard.
Well no luck with XP. I keep getting the RMN40 error. Right now I just want to play so I am back on my Vista drive trying the Nvidia GTA4 beata drivers.
Also, running at 1920x1200
I tried the benchmark

Spent the afternoon getting XP to work with GTA and the game runs much better now. Here is the benchmark results; Its almost twice the framerate.

Well, even though you have a decent Dual-Core CPU, a Quad-Core is better for GTA. The game runs a whole lot more smoother and you'll get higher FPS of course. Also a Intel E6750 Dual-Core at 2.66Ghz will beat a AMD Dual-Core 6000+(3Ghz) at nearly every game benchmark.
I said this just to show why your benchmarks are low compared to my inferior 9600GT(I can get into the 50s but I can't do that resolution, only 1440x900). I would try updating your drives to a more recent version, since they supposed to be good for the 200 series.
