Ok guys this is a serious request. What I would like is a Cleo or SCM script that would designate certain car slots as Taxis or Police. So I could in theory use them in the taxi or police missions and also see them in traffic with taxi drivers driving taxis and police driving the new police vehicle. If I could get some feedback on this it would be appreciated. Also easily adjustable so I can designate what cars i want to use.

That seems extremely hard to do if you are not replacing anything. Ask some members who are experienced in memory editing.

Yeah unfortunately Sacky would of been able to. But he has since moved on to GTA 4. Alexander Blade could probably find a way to do it, but again inactive. So I may have to bite the bullet and say to hell with the missions. But if maybe I could get Cops to spawn in the new cars and act like cops it might not be so bad.

I've added a whole bunch of police & taxi vehicles as well confused.gif

You can replace one parked car from a CLEO script with that line.

I'm looking for a script mod for Vice City which will add wanted level if your speed is over the limit.
For example, cops will start pursuit of your car if your speed is about 90+. Just like in the NFS series smile.gif

the code allways jumps back to label GAI and reads again and again the opcode
03C1: 0@ = player $PLAYER_CHAR car


It needs to make two loops
first one to check if actor is driving and if yes get the car handle with
03C1: 0@ = player $PLAYER_CHAR car

second one to get the speed of the car and the rest to select wanted level
and it should contain also a check if actor is driving
and if he is not driving, the code should jump to a section which discharge the car from the script like in the thread Curcar
but it should not be a second thread and the variable name must be the same as it was created,
must be 0@ and not $CURRENT_CAR


So my request is just to correct the script if it's necessary and put it into Vice City's MAIN.SCM so it would work.

Please guys help me out with this

You don't need to "discharge" the car if the car is not created. Discharging the car will make problems for missions when you shouldn't do that.

I've read the article about creating threads but every time I try to use my modified main.scm the game just freezes sad.gif
