When i picked this game up back when it came out I was expecting nothing more then a great GTA game and thats what i got. This was my favorite game back when i had a gameboy advance. Anyone else feel this way or am i alone.

See that's the thing, it wasn't made by R* North... but a third party developer company called Digital Eclipse.
I have to admit though, even if I haven't played it, it looks and seems to act as a very reasonable game for the GBA. The graphics are good enough for this type of hardware and I think I would play this over GTA1.
It does have something none of the other top-downs had, a main storyline...

Apparently, yes, it is backwards compatible.

I say: The best game is what you are currently playing.

For example: if i play GTA III then it is my favourite but when i play VC, then VC is my favourite. Same goes for Advance and all other games.

I bought this game two months ago and I beat it.

I think it's a great game for the Gameboy Advance system! IMO It's better than GTA and GTA 2.

Games on crappy consoles have their magic.
R* can't make good graphics or physic, so they try improve everything else.
