Just watched this yesterday. Man, Hulk scenes were the sh*t in this movie! Mark Ruffalo did a fantastic job portraying Bruce Banner. Me want a new Hulk movie now please! He got the best scenes in the Avengers just smashing sh*t up.

The film just delivers wit after wit after wit. Every character got their shining moment and hell even Robin Sherbosky did!

I was wondering, is it "The Avengers" or "The Avengers"?

Saw it last Friday - loved it! The Hulk rocked! I had reservations about Ruffalo, but he proved me wrong. The epilogue was a shocker - Avengers will have their hands full next time.

Avengers, Spider-man, Dark Knight - it's going to be a good summer.

The Hulk was indeed f*cking awesome in the movie.

However he wasn't as I expected him to be Bruce Banner.

Not... geeky enough and he acts a bit too arrogant. And the I'M ALWAYS MAD was f*cking gay. Could've atleast let him get hit first by something which would make him mad.

Same goes for Tony Stark being out of power near the end, except of Thor using lightning on his core to "recharge" him they use the Hulk's scream to wake him up, kinda fail. I wanted more teampowers activated sad.gif

Saw it late because I was waiting to see it with my father - make it more of a special occasion I guess. tounge.gif

Anyway's - it's safe to assume that we're going to see "The Avenger's 2: The Skrull Invasion" next.. sly.gif

I had a feeling they were behind it all along, anyway's.

Also, Mark Ruffalo was by far the best Hulk yet - and I hope they actually stick with him. icon14.gif

Oh man, that was a fun film. Whedon for president!

I agree with the talk about Loki though - sort of a letdown. And the Chitauri designs were so uninspired.

Oh, te flying aircraft carrier was just f*cking silly. tounge.gif

Edit: and apparently Zachary Levi is playing Fandral in Thor 2. I hope there is more action in it.

ABC gives Joss Whedon green light for S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot.

There are also rumors swirling about Fox letting Marvel use Silver Surfer and Galactus in a movie, probably the Avengers 2, in exchange for an extension on their Daredevil movie rights. But I hear that Fox is denying it.

So, Whedon is back for Avengers 2, which is f*cking fantastic.

Now, we are waiting on Iron Man 3 which is set to happen after Avengers, while Thor 2 happens before Avengers and Cap America 2 is also before Avengers. I did find a timeline of events but don't have it on hand right now. Will try and locate it again.

Marvel Cinamatic Timeline

f*cking HUGE image.

A Marvel Timeline

A cool site with a written timeline. That is version 1. They have a second version linked at the beginning.

The things they've done with this universe, with these characters. It's really incredible bringing that to the big screen in such a way. I think this is probably Hollywood's most ambitions project to date. And so far it's been very successful.

That's cool. So my gripe about how Thor just appears out of no where in the Avengers might be answered. As well as Cap never mentioning what happened to Peggy.

I love the fact that they're making a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. I'm not a fan of the books, but it just shows that Marvel is willing to bring their whole roster of heroes into the film world.

BTW, my last post about the "trade" with Fox and Marvel was just a rumor. What actually happened was Fox couldn't get a Daredevil movie started, so it's likely that the rights will revert back to Marvel. If only the X-men rights were reverted back to Marvel before X3 was shat out of Brett Ratner. I hope after the critical failure of The Amazing Spider-man that Sony just lets the franchise go in time for the Avengers 3.

Rumor was that The Avengers was going to have OsCorp's Building in it, but Sony couldn't get it finished in time for The Avengers. Which would have f*cking rocked, cause then we could have had Sony keep making Spider-Man movies with cross over to Avengers.

I do worry about how they will keep the whole 'Problem in NYC, why not send Iron Man and Thor' or 'Dangers in Middle East, why not send Avengers' in the single films.

What could be cool if in Thor 2, Cap 2 and Iron Man 3 we get slightly bigger nods to the characters.

Like:

Tony Stark: Pepper, have you heard from Rogers?
Pepper: No, Tony. All I know is that Rogers and Thor are off somewhere.
Tony: Okay, I'm going down to have a chat with Banner, don't let Fury through on the comms.

That would rock. I hope Banner is at Stark Tower and features.

I get the feeling that Hulk is going to be featured heavily in one of the other big movies. Probably Iron Man 3, since it's supposedly set after the Avengers.

I'm trying to find out where on the timeline the next 3 films fall. I've heard rumors that Captain 2 falls before Avengers and Thor, while Thor 2 happens after the Avengers and Iron Man 3 happens before the Avengers and also after it.

Of course, those are rumors. I'll keep looking.

After the Avengers

Some interesting stuff there. Looks like Feige is saying Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 will remain independent of SHIELD, while Captain America 2 will involve SHIELD and be set before Avengers.

Loki Won not The Avengers

Holy f*ck that is an amazing analysis of The Avengers and it makes so much sense and helps the lead up to the following films, even the stand alones.

darth, go read that.

I don't think this is possible since the first Captain America pretty much shows everything Steve does from taking the serum to the events of The Avengers. I'd prefer Phase 2 films to all happen mostly chronologically after The Avengers, since they're supposed to be the lead up to the next assembly and not the previous one.

So far these films are confirmed; Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man and (of course) The Avengers 2. So it's looking to be another 6-film phase. Can't wait.

Yeah, I suspected something like this. Although I would enjoy seeing Thor 2 set after Thor 1 and before the Avengers, I would probably enjoy seeing it set after the Avengers just as much, just so we could see Loki. My own theory is that Loki will team up with Thor to fight some other force, and that there will be a twist revealing that Loki once again was behind whatever threatens Asgard. Although that may be too close to the first movie for comfort.

P.S. The fact that there is such a thing called a Xanatos Gambit is awesome. Gargoyles was highly underrated, and it could have been so much better if it weren't produced and held back by Disney. But I digress.

@d0mm2k8, I can't wait to see Rocket Raccoon in action. I'm not a Guardians of the Galaxy fan in the least, but just from a artistic standpoint Rocket is one of my favorite non-mainstream characters. (I mean that as in he's unrecognizable to people who don't read comics). It's just cool to see a Raccoon with a large machine gun.
