Hi all GTA fans!
I am working on a brand new mod for GTA:LC, I was always missing trains here. You guys made a really great job, when you converted original Liberty City to the Vice City engine smile.gif. Well, I can do most of the mod, still learning how to make models in zmodeler, how to modify IDE / IPL / COL files for the mod. But every help is welcome, I don't know how to make paths for trains for example, if you could help me, that would be really great. I am looking for some GTA gurus out there (or here smile.gif ), who can say what is the limit of IDE / IPL / COL, because it's really annoying when you have 90% work complete and game starts to crash. It happend to me, more about it when I will talk about electrification. Now I will upload some screenshots of work that has been done.

I will continue developing this mod, my point is to make a railway across all Liberty City. I have a concept, where tracks can be layed, sometimes there are more options, but every of them has some drawbacks - destroying or replacing some buildings, or little terrain change, for a tunnel for instance.

Electrification:
For now I am working on catenary models, pylons, wires etc. This is no problem, I'm just afraid of IPL limit, because I was doing something like this for GTA:SA and when 70% was done, game started to crash. I hope this won't happen here since I think GTA:LC doesn't have so much IDEs and IPLs as original GTA:VC, what is the engine. We've got VC Limit Adjuster as well.
But I don't understand this - it says GTA:LC has no dynamic objects (original VC has 2336 of them) and GTA:LC has 8833 static objects - compared to 6778 in VC) . Globally GTA:LC contains of 281 less objects than GTA:VC, but does that mean that we can place only those 281 + some limit IPLs objects into the GTA:LC game without using adjuster? If someone understands this, please let me know.

I made a tool for GTA:SA which was placing the electrification (pylons+wires) to the game automatically, it was handling the IPL files according signs I manually placed on the track. So this is not really a hard work, only laying tracks down must be done precisely.

Since I am only little advanced in Zmodeler, which I use for making 3D models, I have some troubles with correct lightning, textures seem to be darker they should be etc. So if you wish you can improve models I make, I will upload everything on the net and give link here.

Thank you for your interest and bye for now.

It's a program that allows you to import the 3d models inside the *.dff files and edit them

EDIT from Craig: I'm sure he probably figured out the answer to that question somewhere else in the last 6 months. But thanks for helping out anyway.
