i just uploaded my new VW Golf Mk1 (rabbit mk1 if you are american) to gtagarage.com, click here (http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=4408)

it is for GTA San Andreas and is 185760 triangles so far (you will need a GOOD graphics card)

i think its my best car so far.. please give it a try and leave me some feedback

also please have a look at my other models.. i know some are a bit unfinished but i have started modding again so i will try to finish as much as i can..

Expect updates to most of my mods in the next few months

Fix the rear window, but besides that, good job. I would also suggest going with more European wheels.

This are german BBS Rims, the most people who drives a MK1 tuned it out with new rims, bodykits
But i like the original MK1 or the Pirelli Golf MK1, its very rare

wow thanks for the feedback everybody. i will try to fix the windows tomorrow, and maybe do some wheels, i think i will add a couple of types of wheels for this to my "chongs wheelpack 2" which is on gtagarage.com. that way everybody can have the wheels they like.

your comments and help are most useful, i will try to listen to everybody

i am going to start on those pirelli wheels later today i think, and i will try to fix the windows and some other issues like the rear lights.. expect an update on gtagarage.com tomorrow

it is all my own work though its been a couple of very busy weeks making this.. lots more detail to be added, but i will release a lower poly version without an engine model for people with slow PCs.. i will have to have a look at repo's golf and try to make mine a bit different.. i have some pirelli P wheels in progress at the moment

Golf Mk1 updated and uploaded..

Pirelli Wheels complete and added to the GTI version of the golf (this is available from my website until the gtagarage.com moderators approve it, i think it will be on gtagarage.com in about 24 hours)

Golf updated:
rear lights tweaked a bit
BACK WINDOW FIXED
fiddled with wheels a bit
some other stuff i cant remember..

i am still trying to remember how to do broken glass without it going all weird.. a few more tries needed i think..

I will start the damaged bits soon, and possibly an engine...

hmm, nice bodykits, but i think i will miss them from this model for now.. also it involves editing the doors, so i cant add them as extras, as extras only work as one static object (as far as i know..)

i just used the original blista compact dummies for the modshop parts, the damaged one is twisted...

i still have work to do on this mod, so the windscreen will be fixed.. gtagarage.com ate one of my files and i havn't had the chance to re-upload it yet.. update coming soon on the GTI
