I am having a problem with audio volume when adding my own music to GTA San Andreas. It happens especially when I get onto a motorcycle. The confusing thing is when it plays GTA music it plays loud and clear on all vehicles. But when I listen to my own music some tracks are loud like the music on San Andreas, some are not. I don't know if it could be either a format problem (i.e. mp3, wav, wma, ra) or another type of problem. Thankx

Try updating your sound card drivers if you haven't got the lastest installed then delete gta_sa.set, and try running the game in Win2000 Compatibility mode.

Try either wav or ogg format instead of mp3 and see if you notice any difference.

Actually, the real easy "fix" is when a song comes on that is not very loud, pause-go to audio options and turn the sfx volume down and the radio volume up. Also, are you using music downloads or music recordings-ie. internet radio recordings? I use both-but mostly radio recordings from online radio created with Freecorder or Replay Music, and I notice some songs are loud and some are real low, but I know that is just the recording. So I turn down the sfx volume and I can hear the song(s) perfectly fine. Hope this helps.
