I have GTA IV for Xbox 360 and the last mission (A revengers Tragedy) seems to be impossible to finish for me. When I climb Little Jacob's helicopter, it says I have to repeatedly tap A in order for Niko to climb into the helicopter but I've tried that so many times and he doesnt climb in (he makes an effort) and then after a while he just falls down and i have to restart the entire mission. Any clues/ideas why?
Think about this: Pretend someone is standing behind you with a gun pointed at your head, and if you don't tap as fast as you can, he'll pull the trigger. Just tap it until the camera veiw changes, then chase that d*ck down. Try using you middle finger, or index finger(as said above)(i find middle finger able to tap faster).
Yeah it could be you tapping too fast or not fast enough. Too fast-your controller isn't able to register each tap so slow down. But I remember mashing like mad
I just tapped (A) pretty fast but I also pushed the left analog stick in the direction Niko was climbing because I remembered from the truck mission you had to do that. I don't know if it matters or not but it might help .

Just tap it until the camera veiw changes, then chase that d*ck down.
