So you have 2 options: find some achievement-hungry dudes or just hack them.

Steam summer sales ftw i noticed battlefield bad company 2 is 50% off, and I might buy it, but I wonder if it's a "full" battlefield game, I mean, is it designed like battlefield 1942 (the first and last battlefield i played) or is it more close quarter based like CoD?

if not, do you think BF3 could satisfy my needs of big open landscapes with vehicular warfare etc. ? I also like a decent singleplayer

i've been checking some reviews etc but i'm still not sure

BC2 is kind of it's own thing, it got it's inspiration from it's roots, but it's a bit more straightforward. Imagine all of the maps more along the scale of the infantry only maps, but with vehicles and a few decisive choke points, though there are pretty much infinite ways around all of them as per normal Battlefield map design of course. It ends up being kind of general raw assault on a point, I don't doubt since they were weighing so heavily on the destructibility of the environment being focused into the gameplay.

so it is as i thought, if i want large, open battles, long paced, with lots of vehicles etc, I'm better off buying BF3 wasn't too fond of BF2 but 3 seems to be awesome again

Loving the summer sale; got Audiosurf, Age of Empires III Complete, Anno 2070, AC collection, Borderlands, Cubemen, Fallout NV, From Dust, GTA collection, Hitman: Blood Money, Orcs Must Die!, PAYDAY: The Heist and Ridge Racer Unbound so far, buying Driver: SF, Auditorium, Farming Simulator 2011 (I have friends who love playing it, for some reason..), Oil Rush, Oblivion, Space Pirates and Zombies, FO3 GOTY and Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 by the end of the sale too, as well as some random games that I won't know are on sale until later.

It is. Just be prepared to for disappointment in the last 10 minutes of Mass Effect 3. The ending is really sh*t and it makes no logical sense whatsoever. Other than that it's a great trilogy worth playing.

I was hoping that Skyrims Dawngaurd DLC would have been released in time for the summer sale but oh well.
So far i've only bought Dear Esther and Crysis Warhead because they were dirt cheap. Really tempted to get Anno 2070 though, Haven't been satisfied by any city sim since SC4 and as there's only an hour left until the deal expires so could anyone give a quick opinion?

After me and my sister watched all three Lord of The Rings in a row, we felt hugely nostalgic and wanted to play the old Lord of The Rings games we used to play years and years ago on the PS2.
