Us PC gamers just went through Take 2's fiscal Q2 report and it says...
"Fiscal 2008 guidance reflects the release of the first installment of episodic content for Grand Theft Auto IV for Xbox 360 in the first quarter of fiscal 2009 instead of the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008 in order to provide a better balance in Take-Two's release schedule."
And it didn't say anything about a PC release either...
The more I read into it, and in complete context, the more it reads like the DLC itself is not affected, but adjusted for when they wanted to reflect the future earnings potential of said DLC.
Since original report above wasn't sourced, here's the complete package
EDIT: i just checked, actually Q1 2009 starts october 1, and ends dec 31 2008.
so what you posted is actually old news, because the original release date for DLC was supposed to be august (Q4 2008), but was recently confirmed a few weeks ago to be pushed to about november.
dont worry, it isnt delayed any further

IIRC, Q1 2009 is nov/dec 2008 and jan 2009.
so it could still be on schedule for nov 2008.

No, In the PC thread we had that discussion already.
Take 2 has it's own fiscal year. Q1 Starts on November 1st for them.
well...my opinion about why DLC got delayed till Q1 of 2009 is that they will be very busy releasing PC version of GTA4 thats why they will have no time for DLC but thats just my 5 cents...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Mind you, the DLC might be improved over what we would have got in August; just like the delay of the game, it actually worked out better for everyone.
