What is the quickest time in which you have completed the game 100%? I personally can't remember from when I finally completed it in December last year, but it must have been at about 800 hours. Then again, I had been playing since October 2004, so it's explainable.

So, what's yours?

I read once somewhere that R* said that average first time playing thru to 100% would take about 150 hours...then with experience it would take about 50 hours. I agree with that since the last time I did 100% it took about 50-80 hours.
Wow...800 hours...I'm at 500 hours on my messing around savefile...gonna shoot for 1000!

It took me three weeks I remember. Around 2-3 hours of gameplay each day, so it must'a been around

21 days x 2-3 hours per day = 50 hours.

That wasn't my first time though. The first time I gave 100% a shot, I cheated hundreds of times and accidentally overwrote my save at Green Goo.

No cheats. I remember three weeks of nonstop playing, around 1-2 hours each day. That would make it around 40 hours of game time.
This is also the save where I have no trainers used, no wastes, and no busts. It was a pretty committed three weeks, with every step towards 100% planned out ahead of time.

So...

What GTA game was the first you played?
When Vice City came you where 11, and you probably where a lousy gamer.

Maybe SA improved your skill?

For me Vice City had no challingen missions, just some mildy irritating. As goes for SA.

I got the game the day it came out and am still yet to complete it 100%! Should get round to doing it though, really. Perhaps in the summer when the weather's bad (guaranteed bad weather up here).

Completed the storyline countless times (it get's really boring once leaving Los Santos until the return) without cheats. I could never get past Death Row mission in VC without resorting to cheats.

VC 100% - 46 hours

SA 100% - roughly 60 hours
