Why is it that everyone I see seems to have an option to play Ranked or Unranked, but when I try to enter multiplayer (through either Party Mode or just straight from single player), I don't have the option? I simply have Quick Match or Custom Match, nothing about Rank. I checked on the Networks Stats board and it says I've only played 2 games, and apparently I'm Rank 1, but I've played way more than that, so I'm assuming the others were unranked?
I'm so confused. Can someone please help me out? I'm on PS3 by the way

i searched everywhere (menus,freeroam,phone),nothing. for online multiplayer, i don't have internetyet - x360

Try going into story mode then going to phone > Multiplayer > Ranked > Game mode.

should add...if you want to host your own room.

goto Custom Game, set private slots for at LEAST 1 private slots then start game. every time you will be the room host.

I simply don't have that option. I go phone > Multiplayer > Game > Deathmatch (or whatever) > Quick Match / Custom Match. I've gone up and down the options but none of them offer me ranked or unranked.

There should be a ranked option right when you go into multiplayer, unless PS3 is different.

Just wondering what event you have to complete for the achievement, taking it for the team, im not sure which ones count.

hey sorry i meant which events count towards it because ive won cops and robbers team car jack team deathmatch and team mafiya work as well as turf war bomb the base and the other two co op ones. does it involve different variations too?

Its for any team game, Team deathmatch, Team Cops and Crooks, etc.

If I am playing by myself what do I go into to play a ranked game? My score seems to keep resetting. I dont know if its because I am playing [unknowingly] unranked matches or if it just wont save. On the in game cell phone the options under multiplayer are GAMES [quick match, custom match] Invites, player mode, tutorial.

Go to phone (from story mode) > Multiplayer > Ranked > Game mode. I don't know much about the PS3 rank resets, I'm on 360.
