Here's a couple of questions concerning the races (GTA or normal):

How is the prize money decided?
I see the amounts and which finishing positions are awarded changes with the amount of players remaining at the end of the race.

Are there any negative aspects of coming last in a race?
Both questions stem from "Why do people quit out of races?" I get annoyed when I start a race with 16 players and so many people leave during the race that I can get nothing for coming 3rd. Unless there is a negative impact to not being high placed I see 'leavers' as screwing over the people that just beat them by reducing their winnings. So i it just a case of "I'm not going to win, so I'll leave" or is this tactic beneficial to them?

I stopped playing GTA IV for a while and one day,i decided to play it.When i tried to Connect Live this image has showed!

Are they doing updates or something?I really dont know?Please help!

How does the game party mode work in multiplayer?

Some times the checkboxes seem to work after each game, by clicking a you party up and wait for the host to select the next gametype. Although some time it doesn't.

Is there any way to party up with your friends after spending time to find eachother in ranked games to play for example the co-op missions ranked or do you really have to search again cause the game party option doesn't seem to work.

excuse me...i have one question...i've installed the env.mod and it's working....but when i bring up my cell and
select "multiplayer" it tells me i have to remove the modified files in order to access it....now the question is:
-I there any way to get around this thing without removing the mod? and btw,i have the latest patch

why do other players seem to have more range than me even with same weapon?
seems a bit unfair .

Do you mean in autoaim games? Probably what you're experiencing is that another player walking towards you comes into the range of your gun a little bit before the autoaim is capable of locking on. You can use this to your advantage by shooting using free aim while your opponent is still waiting for autoaim to kick in. You know they're in range because you can see their health reticule when you aim at them.

no. im fully aware of the extra free aim on top of auto . my crosshair is right over the enemy but im not getting the reticule or any hits as im being killed .
it would not surprise me if psn or r* are limiting me due to my mad skillz.
or some people have found a way to cheat some extra range.

I recently started playing Multiplayer Free Mode... can someone pls tell me how to drop a Grenade/Molotov while walking/running?? Thanks!
Also, i notice that there are some cheaters, shooting RPG's/Grenades from inside buildings @ Airport and some players even disappeared, but the Blip was present ??? How's that done?? pls&TY!
Also, how do i get the skin of Alex in bikini??????? TY TY TY !

I would recommend setting configuration to standard.
If I remember correctly, classic config also doesn't have a reload button,
which can put you at a disadvantage.

Thanks for the advice , but I'm so used to the Classic conf.
I tried Standard and kept getting confused.
I don't really need the reload option with Grenades, and for other weapons,
i quickly change weapons back&forth to reload.
Somebody pls help meeeeeee

Edit: I found out, to drop a Grenade while walking/running, (on Standard Config. ONLY ) -- press R2,
and to get Alex's Skin in "Black Lingerie" (not bikini), i must reach Rank 10--? @ "R"

Yup! KSA= Kindom of Saudi Arabia
I only met a couple of skilled KSA guys. And I've been playing against them since Halo 2.
Their not a clan, they just put KSA in front of their name to represent their region.

@SideKitten: Nope sorry, you have to have the same game. If your friend ends up getting it, make sure they buy it from a store seeing there is the Downloadable version and the Bundle.
