1. I think it will affect any progress you didn't save. So if you turn your phone on silent just after a race for example, the next time you go back into the story mode you would have to do that same race again. So I suggest you save the game then turn it on silent.

2. You can't kill side characters. I think there is actually a glitch where you can kill LJ though. But the silent phone option I think would be better. In case you want to go back and play some more story mode.

@ JJCribbins - I cant put that in because it’s opinionated, this topic is for fact.

@ SevenII - I think the silent option warning is just that. If you chose to use that you may miss important calls. I agree though the characters can be annoying when you don’t want to do activities with them, personally if they call me I answer and then hang up immediately. Skips the conversation and you can get back to what you were doing.

@ Paudge - Yes it is. There doesn’t seem to be a limit of how far and/or long you can swim for. Tapping X makes him go faster but this seems to slow down as he tires or with the more you use it.

@ Sevzor - Thanks for the input of the new questions, I do indeed know the answers and am adding it to my edit of the topic now. Please don’t double post though mate, just edit your previous post with the new information you want to add

do you know of any DLC for the PS3. i know that microsoft got the 360 exclusive content, but surely after they have released the DLC for the 360 they can release something for the PS3? i mean sure give them the content first so they got what they paid for but then give it to the PS3 a few months on? what u reckon?

@ rogan2442 - Like yourself I believe there will be some sort of DLC for the PS3, yes Microsoft paid all this money for it in the first place but Rockstar knows they cant afford to alienate the PS3 owners by not giving them anything. I would guess we wont get anything till the summer though (at the earliest).

@ VinnyGouveia - Sorry mate but what do you mean by commands? If I know what they are and if I think they would benefit the FAQ I’d be happy to add them.

@ JJCribbins - No doubt, some have criticized the soundtrack for GTA 4, personally I think there is so much variety for people of all musical tastes that you cant really complain about it.

@ saintdave: Aye. I couldn't agree more - from what I've heard, it's a very impressive soundtrack. I'd say that it's just as good as the soundtrack was in Vice City; muchos impressive!

Anywho, back on-topic: do you suppose the FAQ could dispel some of the myths out there? For instance, just in the same way that people forever went on a hunt for Big Foot or ManBearPig* in San Andreas, I've heard rumours of the Bohan Grizzly Bear and I even recall reading somewhere about a three-legged person featuring in the game. Anywho, dispelling these myths can only be a good thing really I s'pose, although some people do like to keep 'em alive for the "but what if...?" thrill-factor.

Nothing really. You can buy an unlimited amount of ammo. But you do not get infinite ammo. It resets to the maximum limit if you load the game again.

@ VinnyGouveia - Oh I see. Well I do have the comparison button control table on the first page (as provided by Seddo) so people can compare buttons as I post this in PS3 format. We did have those leaked scans of the controls prior to the games released and they were removed for obvious reasons, so I’m not sure if it would be ok to post them now.

@ London Casual - It’s untrue. The only thing you can do there is enter/exit his garage. Some have stored vehicles there but its save capacity is very limited with it holding them only whilst you are in that area and whilst that game is loaded.
