They are set to level 9. * SRt3 2012 Mipmap Edition includes .Lod Mod/Draw Distance Mod. * SRt3 2012 Mipmap Edition doesn't change the game interiors. * SRt3 2012 Mipmap Edition includes all the previous versions and updates, meaning you don't need any other old versions. * The setup will install all the files in your PC, but you still have to install the mod in your game. * SRt3 needs to be installed on a clean GTASA 1.0

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * What is SRt3! It's a San Andreas Mod, that retextures the entire map. It is at least the initial name of the project which the goal is to retexture any piece/object of San Andreas by textures of much higher quality. * SRt3 Mod exist since August 2005 - original author of this mod is ParoXum. * SRt3 mod has been released on 7 August 2006 but not everything was retextured, ParoXum leaves the mod how * On 4 April 2008, the mod started to be continued by me. * Under the name of SRt2, in time the mod's name had changed into SRt3.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- List of Features: ------------------ This list represents all the goodies inside SRt3, including other mods and innovation brought to this version since the last version: * New HUD * Detailled Radar MOD by Ian Albert & BaygoN * Lod Mod/Draw Distance Mod * *OGM_2Pac*'s develop peds Packs for SRt3. * Deserted New Grass Retextured; NDGT, dynamic and static grasses of the desert : ParoXum * Normal New Grass Retextured; NNGT, dynamic grasses of the game : ParoXum * MTA: Rv' S Generics Objects; Barrels, baskets, cases, boxes, etc Textures Hi-Resolution : ParoXum * New Vegetation Trees; Pack containing my textures of vegetation, new model 3D of trees, palm trees : ParoXum * Complete Retexture Country of San Fierro - ParoXum & BLITZ * Complete Retexture Country of Los Santos - ParoXum & BLITZ * Complete Retexture Country of Las Venturas - ParoXum & BLITZ * Complete Retexture Desert of Las Venturas - ParoXum & BLITZ * Complete Retexture San Fierro - ParoXum & BLITZ * Complete Retexture Las Venturas - ParoXum & BLITZ * Changes in commercial logos like banners, billboards : Sprunk, Victim, BurgerShot, BoBo - BLITZ
Why the mod needs V1.0 only since the entire mod is based only on textures - Because many programs, tools and such, are asking for V1.0.
Why does SRt3 lags or I'm having FPS drops ? - At the moment I don't have any problems with lagg, using SRt3. I will remember that I have EAH3650 HD 1GB with Core 2 Duo 3,01ghz, of 4GB RAM. So for those who has lower than mine, possible, not quite, to have bit of a lag.
Mipmaps - This new edition of SRt3 brings the possibility to play SRt3 textures with Mipmaps along with Lod Mod, another project of mine that increases the Level of Detail for far objects of higher quality.
No need to use SALA or StreamMemoryFix.asi anymore. Memory512.cs was made by fastman92 and it does the same thing. * We know very well that both SALA or StreamMemoryfix.asi are bit unstable, and usually you may get freezes, crashes or closing to desktop. * Since memory512.cs is nothing more than a CLEO file, only requires CLEO 4, it has twice the stability. You also escape from .DLL's and other mandatory files of SALA and Stream. * All you need to do is to install CLEO 4 and move the file, memory512.cs in CLEO folder.
Med Editor/Map Editor won't work anymore after gta3.img reaches 2GB/2.2GB and either with SRt3 when it will hit between 3.32GB/3.45GB with SRt3 and Archived at 2.50GB/2.80GB.
The Limit size of gta3.img is 4.095MB/4GB. IMG Manager can also show you this information. * Going beyond 4GB of gta3.img, the game will crash at exit, the entire textures will be replaced with LOD blurry textures.
You can't simply install Project Oblivion or SAkina over SRt3 trees. Each mod holds the same files of trees. You still need to make some tweaks by changing some .DFF or .TXD tress. This is available for any category of Mod Trees. * For more details and information, visit SRt3 & Project Oblivion section below.
Using IMG Tool V2 or Alci's IMG after SRT3 was installed or in any case if gta3.img is above 2GB, all the files that were last time saved will have 0KB when they will be extracted. * All the files are empty inside and not a single program like 3DMax, TXD Workshop, ZModeler can open them. * Both or any other older IMG Tool aren't capable to extract them properly anymore, even if you can still veiw their real size correctly inside in any IMG Tool.
It is possible that when using to often Alci's IMG Rebuild Archive, at unknown procentage, the progress stops, cancels the hole porgress, shows a error message and all the files that were suppose to be IMPORTED never got installed. * From this point the entire GTA3.IMG is broken, therefore you have to use another clean gta3.img. * I recomend IMG Manager made by xmen, the newsest IMG Tool that can extract, import, rebuild. IMG MANAGER can unlimited rebuild gta3.img.
I came to the conclusion that if you want a very solid and stable gameplay is best that after you finished installing everything that you like, including SRt3 + Lod Mod, never touch gta3.img again. * It seems that after I include something new, even two or five files, the game begins to crash or freeze too often after gta3.img is 2GB/3.5GB in size. * If you want to install something new, even just one or two cars, you have to use a new clean gta3.img and install everything again. * To me it happens to install something new, at least after two or three weeks have passed. * In order to have a quick installation of everything again, I have my own special design folders. * One folder where I hold all the vehicles, including cars, helicopters, jets, boats and bikes. Another folder for weapons, another folder for tunning parts and paintjobs, folder for trees, folder for peds using Rebuild Archive between installs. * Anything new that I'm trying to install, I move them to their specific folder and from those folder, I'm reinstalling everything on a new gta3.img * In that way I'm using gta3.img and Rebuild Archive only two or three times and not tens and hundreds of times. * I've reach to play with my own modded 8GB San Andreas [3.65GB gta3.img, 4.50 the rest] from two to four hours long without having one crash or freeze and I continue played. * Further details and explanations can be found here: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=323180&st=2460
I also recomend something totally new and better for Trees/Palm Mod: Behind Space of Realities by YourCreatedHell Link: - http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=502508 - I doesn't use DATA/MAPS anymore, doesn't make real folder with IDE/IPL, doesn't uses Mark's Bistro buildings - Now depends on your taste.
Project Oblivion: ------------------- * You have problems with both mods ? * Do you have white trees texture around you ? * Does your game crash at loading ? Another detailed and complex Tutorial made by me, for better understanding of the entire white trees texture problem. - http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=452418
Instalation: ------------- * First you need a CLEAN GTa San Andreas. * Backup GTA3.IMG in case of any trouble. * Install SRt3 and IMG Manager. For Win7, if IMG Manager doesn't work or run, use this: %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\ldr64.exe setwow * Now use IMG MANAGER. It will ask you to "select the required tool paths". Those are paths for extra tools like Map Editor, GXT Editor, TXD Workshop, however this isn't necessary so you can skip this and it will never ask you again. * Choose GTA3.IMG and select BULK REPLACE (will ask you if you are familiar with this and choose yes) and select SRt3 folder. IMPORTANT: - IMG Manager IMPORT function only imports the files but it doesn't replace the older ones, meaning you will have the same files twice. - IMG Manager IMPORT function views only files, but you can also select as many as you want with CTRL+A - IMG Manager BULK REPLACE function imports but also replace the older files. - IMG Manager BULK REPLACE views and accepts only folders. SRt3 setup is automaticaly making folder specialy design for such installation. * After he finishes to BULK everything, use REBUILD ARCHIVE to compress and rebuild GTA3.IMG to put all the file in their right order. * Is best to frequently use REBUILD ARCHIVE over GTA3.IMG, specially when you are using large mods that are having more than 100/200 files.
Bonus ------- * There is a Bonus folder where you can find the following content. - As result of making Lod Mod, all the previous LOD texture were erased, however for those who aren't interested in their system can handle Lod Mod, can install them back. The files can be found in Bonus folder, LOD Textures Pack. - Ped Pack consist in peds retexturing. I had users with opinions where some would not like to play with them and others would want to. - Is nothing better than having a new look of Hud.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * fastman92 for making memory512.cs and methodunderg for compiling the file. * Robanswe for finding a way to fix the SA-MP CUSTOM.IDE white textures bug. * Ryosuke for making maplimit tool and Function-X for giving me this lost tool. * And the rest of the members and users who made reports over the past months.
I couldn't done this without you guys and gals.

Where did you get all these textures? They are cool! But try to make them in their original sizes, because if import bigger textures the game will lag.
P.S. Mai sunt si romani pe aici.

To Bullet_Chris : I see that you don't know much about STR3 because only the thing about what your saying "make the .bmp on original size. If I make them small then you will not see the texture quality and then that will not be STR3 after all. My comp. is old and I don't have this tipe of problems.
To Darecki: Yeah.. thx what's why I wanted to make this
To Knochen : I'm working on this now, I have find some "metal" and I will try to make it with a little bit of color and 70% white ( like original )
To Knochen : Yeah... was a crazy idea to put high quality .bmp , but it work, you don't see the diferents

What do you mean with my computer is old? Give it's specifications please, because my computer is old too and it had ALOT of problems with the previous (unfinished) version(s) of the mod. It lagged the hell out of my game.

I have old computer and I don't have problems, I didn't have problems before with STR3. The lagg is making only when you change cars, bikes, planes.. etc even with them I still don't have problems... I have only with Project Oblivion ( here you need some good computer )
- Asus 9550 - 512Ram - Amd Athlon 64 (+3000) 2.0ghz and is more old then you
I'm a bit confused, so this is fixed SRT 3 made by Paroxum? Do you have permission to modify it? There's no such thing as STR, it should be SRT(San Andreas Re-Textured).
