| QUOTE (txdeditor @ Jun 24 2010, 15:37) | | Thanks, OH NO, and your pieces are amazing man. to be honest, I never made anything serious on the wall, all I have is f*ck loads of sketches and hopes to be professional. |
cheers lads..and dont worry about being professional, graffiti has moved away from it... in a sense, especially in europe. Everythings been done, being original is practically impossible...just get a style and run with it. look at this guy, horfe. practically made me give up graffiti mans a genius

Got bored today so I thought I'd just sketch something...

I know, I suck.
EDIT*
It made a good signature, though. This post has been edited by The Guru on Sunday, Oct 17 2010, 15:16

| QUOTE (m.luqman @ Feb 11 2011, 18:37) | | QUOTE (The Guru @ Feb 11 2011, 18:02) | | So, you're just spraying to act cool? That's not the point of graffiti. |
How do u know that, i didn't say that.. anyway.. yea.. that's pretty much it.. i guess its for showing off one's artistic.. side right? |
Writing the equivalent of "F*ck" and "Sh*t" on walls isn't exactly showing off your artistic side. Graffiti can make the dullest and most depressing places feel alive and full of colour and claw them back from the brink, or really make passers by think about something. It can also make the most the most depressing, greyest place in the world that little bit worse with crudely painted tags or "bad" words. If you're going to deface something, make sure you're not actually defacing it. If you catch my drift. This post has been edited by Robinski on Friday, Feb 11 2011, 21:57

If you want to spray Just words, then they must have a meaning example#1Example#2And if you want to do that what's called graffiti art, well then it can be any place, but of course, a dull place makes a contrast and a nice look, and of course then you have to practise a lot to get a nice looking result. For examples, just surf through the pages of this topic, you'll find loads of them.

| QUOTE (tms_junk @ Oct 30 2010, 22:50) | Graffiti was always a passion of mine, not so much now now! I might go for the occasional bombing sessions if im pissed off! But i used to live and breath it for about 5-6 years!
Heres a new-ish sketch of mine:
| Me too. I used to write from ages 13-16. (25 now) I used to paint freight trains too. Then I started to drink and that all fizzled away.
