Yes the tri-pack is the full GTA3 pack + the deluxo hermes and ztype. this new oceanic will just be added as tri-pack 1.1 for something.

Those screenshots surely look amazing, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I did what the readme told me (copied the data folder into my GTA:SA installation directory and added the files from the .rar file to gta3.img). But when starting the game, the loading bar stops at about 40% and I have to force the game to close via unlogging in the Windows Control Panel. I use Win7 64-bit, btw.

Don't know red bull, try rebuilding the archive maybe? Are you sure your IMG tool is replacing the old files in the .img and not just adding them?

Anyway, here's some oceanic pics. The Exterior is almost done except for some minor adjustments. I'm not certain on the front lights on the bumpers, I copied them off the dodge pheonix The VC model had some bumps there like the dodge but it was kind of vague.

Great work as always on the Oceanic OP, it looks awesome, i just don't like the bumper lights, they seem a little out of place... just IMO...

Don't listen this guy, lights on the bumper are perfect. Everything is perfect, don't change anything. Good job as always.

BTW: Will you make the Bloodring Banger version too? I think, that wasn't be much work with it. Only adding the safety cage and texturing.

It looks flawless apart from the bumper lights, I think the Oceanic would look best without them.

OP, you do realise that if you carry on like this you will end up redoing San Andreas too?

@The bumper lights: Ill make up some different versions and see what people like.

@The bloodring banger: Yes Ill make it, will be easy.

@epoxi: Don't count on it, I'm making the Oceanic because it won the favorite III vehicle poll. (and making it is reminding me just how much work it is.) After the bloodring banger is done this topic will go on hiatus again. Seeing as I don't have a whole list of cars to do there's no point rushing the Oceanic. I'm going to make sure it looks as good as it can.

I think you should be proud of what you've done. Personally I think you should try creating your own fictional vehicles. That way you are free to come up with whatever you want, taking parts from any other vehicle out there to fit your liking.
That's what I do and it helps to keep me going. I can actually admit I take a lot of ideas from GTA and real cars that grab my attention, but I never look for a blueprint or copy existing models. It's more fun that way imo. You decide what to do next, not me. But whatever you do, I hope it involves graphics because I like your style.

From the screenshot it appears it is 67,000! That's a lot, especially for such an old game.

I like the OP. Even though most people have said "f*ck GTA III, it's too old", this guy didn't give up on it.

Actually that tri count isnt accurate theres a lot of off camera stuff. Its more like 27,000.

only thing you can do is probably to replace the whole front of the Glendale on the one from the Oceanic and visa versa.
is done before except the guy I downloaded cars from made the Oceanics close to a Belverdere/Fury/Christine as seen in my signature but his 'better' Glendale is done this way.
