I recently read this on the GTA III Wikipedia page:
"Other changes included... elderly pedestrians with walkers, school children as pedestrians and a school bus..."

What?! Kids and old people?! I would not have minded seeing Claude mow down a few old grannies, or even a couple of bratty kids, but it's obvious why they made this change.

As sick as it may sound, I wouldn't mind being able to play GTA 3 WITH these edits back in the game...I wonder if there's a mod for it? I'm not a sicko, I just think it would be more realistic that way...

To be honest, I sort of go with both sides, sick and sweet. i wouldnt kill them if they were there but I would at least want an option so yeah, both.

Maybe the school bus was a drivable vehicle, then rock star took it out and made it in to a scrap vehicle like the ones in the scrap yard and next to 8 balls bomb shop.

The only other time I've seen a school bus was in GTA 1.

When it shows a birds-eye view of the street and peds walk by in fast motion, you can see children with rucksacks.

There's only a couple and they have been spotted by magazines aswell so it isn't just my guess.

Like I said, Rockstar know that if they include children, Jack Thompson will try to put them out of business, so they cannot be children, they are definetely adults

Anywho, if they put kids in the game that would be sick. No way would I kill them. GTA games get enough criticizm from elderly people and adults. Would they even be able to put something like that on the market, at least without getting an AO rating?

Also, there were no kids in the IV trailer. I guarantee that.
There were kids in the GTA III Beta, but the only thing left of them is the school bus.
