| QUOTE (radioman @ Friday, Aug 31 2012, 13:54) | | Because the barriers are controlled by the game version(.exe) |
It's not the exe version that determines the player's barriers and objects, it's the data files from the installation - GTA3.IMG, a huge image with most of the sounds, objects, textures, and whatnot all bundled together. If a v2 player "downgrades" to a v1 exe so they can do some modding they will still have v2 barriers and objects. I could explain in more detail what's going on with the barriers and other map changing objects if anyone is really all that interested.

@ 0909090: I don't believe this turn is valid, since you said you've done the Lowrider Race. According to the rules, you're not allowed to do that race before the actual mission that uses that raceline, which is High Stakes, Low-rider. Same goes for Badlands A which is Wu Zi Mu and also Badlands B which is Farewell, my love. | QUOTE | Tournament Races With the exception of the 3 races that must be done within the storyline ("Lowrider Race" & "Badlands A/B"), all races are exempt from the 'one named mission rule'. Unlike the other exceptions, you cannot do as many as you like though. |
