The Chain Game Round 22 - coming soon.
Round 21 finished in only 2 weeks and 2 days; we were not prepared for the rapid pace of the current rounds, and haven't finished the updates yet. I hope to get a beta copy of the round 22 save sometime this morning and will begin testing of the new features. There are several additional garage modifications, a few other experimental features, and at the late minute we are trying to work in a dedication theme for rubregg. Ordinarily we could probably get the next round started by the weekend, but with the Jump Coordinator out on medical leave, and our Master Coder out of town through the weekend, we don't expect to be able to start the next round until early next week.
In the meantime, I encourage people to investigate the current round's save archive for hidden features. There are still many to be discovered, and I'd like to get the map filled in so people can play with them. There are quite a few vehicles to be discovered, many of them in obvious locations, but the vehicle puzzle will be difficult to solve using only a single save. Other than the Property Tax clue, all of the feature classes have been discovered. There are only so many modifications that can be made to a save file, so where I make one edit, I often make many more.
We did not received nearly as many game crash reports this round. I suspect this is partially because people are a little more cautious about extended turns without saving, but I also get the impression that the modifications we made between round 20 and round 21 were effective. If this is an inaccurate observation please provide details on the crashes.

Pretty darn good, and thanks for asking. I've got a new set of modifications I'm pretty excited about. The 1st round of testing has gone very well. I think there are only a handful of small adjustments that need to be made, and retested on a new save. pdescobar is back in town so I hope to get an update in a day or two, and a couple days after that the next round should be starting. We have yet to update our list of discoveries, and almost all of the existing features will remain the same. There are quite a few features that will be much easier to find on a late game save, so if anyone wanted to get a jump on the hunt, they might consider loading up a few of the saves from round 21. Has anyone made any progress on the vehicle puzzle? The testers figured out a pattern to my methods and quickly discovered many of the early additions.
