1. That problem is more common with the older models and it usually comes about from overheating. As long as you have the 360 in a spot where it has proper ventilation, it shouldn't be an issue. My friend gave me his and he had it since 2007 and neither one of us have had a problem with it.

2. There's a simple solution to that. Don't be a moron and get banned in the first place.

Actually the fat 360 and fat ps3 are tied in that issue. Im a ps3 fanboy, but its true. Ps3 fat is no better.

But in terms of slim ps3, i find its more reliable. Several reasons for that. Mainly the dang disk drive. The disk drive on the 360 slim has issues sometimes ejecting the tray, while ps3 has a different type of drive.

Also on the slim ps3, i HIGHLY doubt you will get YLOD.

Tied? No way, actually like 7 -14% of fat ps3s got ylod and something between 30-60% of original xbox models got rrod, definitely not a tie.

Point is the slim models of both are very reliable.

hi i also want to know when is the PS4 and 720 comin cause if i buy a ps3 or xbox it will ne a waste as the next gen consoles come out... so do you think the ps4 and 720 will release only in early 2014? please reply!

It is not known, microsoft and sony said that the consoles they had were intended to last for the next 10 years.
360 came out in 2005 so 10 years is 2015, most people think a new console will be released earlier, probably October-Novemberish 2013 or 2014.

I would buy a console if i were you, they are very cheap now, for about $200 you could get one and you will get at least 1 year out of it, and who says you have to buy the next generation consoles on release?

They pulled it right after they delayed GTA 3 for playstation network. I think its got something to do with it. Maybe an HD collection is finally in development.

Has anyone here got the "new" xbox and it just turns off for no reason? I turn on my brother's and leave it on so I can go on his world on Minecraft but I literally leave it stationary for about 20minutes and it just turns off.

I'd recommend getting the DLC 'Shivering Isles' and Knights of the Nine' for Oblivion if you get really interested in it. Such a great beautiful game, it was actually the first HD game I watched and played.

Aaah, I didn't even know that existed, it hasn't done it since so it must have been that.
