I wouldn't. My two PS3 opticals are also fairly screwed up. Any thoughts about opening and replacing your ODD? If you do, I believe moving the PCB the same way you do for PS systems is advisable

There are a number of disc remedies themselves, but I'd be avoiding toothpaste myself. Sometimes just a repeat with water cleaning can do enough of a job

It's not my optical drive that's the problem, it's the disc itself. All other games run fine. Toothpaste has worked on these issues before, but it won't work for this. The Xbox recognizes that there is a game in, and when I play, it won't read.

Annnd some guy yelled at me on MW3 last night cuz I kept getting AH-6's and shooting him through walls. He accused me of being a hacker and apparently "got a MOAB" after I left. I said "only hackers get MOAB"

Well, Nick, one idea is to exchange it in the game store, pick up another copy. I've bought copies of the same GTA to replace one that just saw heavy use, which I am proud to say, in that way, supporting Rockstar above and beyond!

Godfather is amazing, good choice on that. It's a good Free Roamer even if the maps are small.

Although I've not bothered to look it up, as you know the new HDD for Slim 360 is a new design, is it now easier to upgrade, or just as difficult? As far as putting your own HDD in the casing? I use one of the 20 GB standards with the casing removed, so it's just sitting there "naked", with the idea I'll try some upgrades from another SATA source and some firmware trick

No nothing to do with hacked accounts or security breaches, it's just gullible users thinking it's a way to get MSP for free. It comes around every few months or so, at the moment it's Xbox 10th anniversary in Japan or something so people believe it's some Microsoft promotion.

I remember on PSN there was some sh*t 'Invite 15 of your friends to a keyboard chat at the same time and they all have to type surprise and you receive a $20 PSN card'

Funny so so so many people were actually trying to do it, and just yesterday some dickhead was saying his friend did it and it worked when i said is was Bullsh*t, some people are incredibly stupid.

Speaking of free MSP, Xbox Live Rewards is a neat little program. So far I've already gotten 320 points from them, and apparently I get 200 more for renewing my membership for a year (stuff I would do regardless). Guess I won't need to pay for upcoming DLC that I want.

Sounds like a Chainmail thing, my lil sister buys into sending copies of messages to get some good luck or somethin'
