Anyone tried the SEGA Rally demo?

Yeah i downloaded it before and done the two races and done a race each with the two cars. To be honest i thought it would of been more realistic aswell. tounge.gif

When the cars carve the marks in the track and it said in the video trailer that it would be better to follow that line because you car would have more control and grip, for me whilst i was driving on it it seemed to be harder to control.

After playing the two tracks and i didn't really like it, i was expecting more of a Colin McRae style game.

I heard Sonic 2 will be coming to XBL and I am seriously considering buying it. Sonic 2 was a kick ass game for the SEGA and I would love to play it again. I wonder if it supports split screen two-player like the original....

It's already available and has been for about two weeks now, there is a demo thing to download aswell. Unless it's not available on the US marketplace yet.

Yeah. I've been a casual gamer since I got my Xbox360, but damn...
If I didn't have other responsibilities, my console probably wouldn't survive much longer.

Really dude? I believe I once passed out with my 360 still on with the Office Space DVD still idling at the main menu...when I woke up the 360 was still doing just fine, wasn't really that hot, no RROD...and I've read many testimonies from people about playing launch consoles into the wee hours of the night and following morning/afternoon and claiming no RROD or problems. If you keep the thing ventilated, you shouldn't have problems. I'm hoping you already know that...

EDIT: Actually it was either Tommy Boy or Office Space..

It does indeed. Two player story and co-op play on one screen. Online co-op for the 'bonus stages' and the stage races.

Havent really had a whole lot of problems with mine, except it seems to be loading a few things a bit slower than it used to, and is a little louder than what I remembered it to be. Other than that had no real problems, mind you I dont really get much time on it with work/drinking/smoking obligations.

It quite simply does not get better ventilated than that. but still, after 8 hours strait, the system froze, i was able to shut it down from the controller, but had to turn it on at the console. it was fine after that, i played DOA:X2 uhh.....bioshock for two hours and it was fine.

oh you got the HD-DVD drive. Quick question if you don't mind...

When you want to use the HD-DVD drive do you have to have the 360 on at the same time or can you just have the HD-DVD on by itself as I noticed that it has it's own Mains plug...

Sip, where's the hot air going? can't see any holes at the back for it to escape. Are you just blowing it up via cold air?

I dissagree. Yes, you have a good fan, but it's in a small cabinet, and the fan can't blow directly into the 360. I currently have mine set up on a wireframe shelf, directly over a vent that blows cold air 24/7.

Not claiming it's the best, but I don't see how a fan that blows out warm air, and has to travel around the 360 in a small closed cabinet right beside a PS3 is better. And like TheDude said, I've left mine on two days straight, no problems. Wasn't smart, granted, but when you have no HDD, you're desperate (was back when I had the corrupt HDD, and was waiting for a new one from MS). Was a little bit louder than usual, but after I left it off for a few minutes, it was back to normal.

I shall now wait for you to show me how yours is better, because I know it'll be true.

the air comes in holes at the back at ground level, goes through a furnace dust filter, gets sucked up by the fan, pushed into the bottom shelf, through holes drilled in the right side of the top shelf, and out holes by the 360. it flows quite heavily throughout the entire case. you can also feel quite heavy airflow coming out the back of the case at the top. not to mention the incoming air charge is further cooled by time spent below the bottom shelf against a 12*c cement floor.

i do, infact have the best cooling solution.

ps. the fact that it is a small cabinet means the air flow faster, and closer to the 360. so while the speed of the air is quickly being dissapated into your room, and maybe 10% of the air coming out of the vent even comes close to the 360, i have large volumes of air rushing through mine.

Aah, guess you do have good ventilation. But like you said, you played....Bioshock or w/e for two hours right afterwards with no problems, if I'm correct. Could it have just been a normal crash? I mean I have plenty of other consoles that lock up from time to time, not necessarily due to overheating.
