These are my general working tools:

1. Unarmed
Fighting style that can be learned in a gym at Las Venturas. Great for mano-a-mano and for taking out tough opponents (if you have a chance to approach them close enough).

2. Knife or Baseball Bat
a) Knife: Can be used to silence someone quietly.
b) Baseball Bat: Yobbo style.

3. Desert Eagle or Silenced 9mm
a) Desert Eagle: Not as fast as other pistols but when it shoots, it packs a punch. Two clips are more than enough to move down that annoying Police Maverick.
b) Silenced 9mm: See: knife.

4. Dual sawed-off shotguns
They shoot four shells fast enough to give you one, but powerful attack. Most cars can be pushed or turned a little (some cars, like taxi, can even e flipped on it's roof) if they get shot in their side and you are close enough.

5. Dual micro SMGs
Wielding two micro SMGs will give you one hundred bullets, so you don't have to worry that ammo will suddenly run out. Also usefull when you are using jet pack.

6. M4
It's more accurate and it can hold twenty round more than AK-47.

7. Sniper rifle
Great for a long distanced head shots.

8. Flamethrower or Minigun
a) Flamethrower: Great for situations where you are surrounded by enemies (especially when you have to deal with federal agents - they can outnumber you very fast) or when you have to fight in a tigh space. Flames can also go through walls and they can destroy everything, even a tank. People who are set on fire will not attempt to kill you, because they are too busy running and screaming around. Also, you can go berserk with that toy if you are fireproof.
b) Minigun: I think that I will not exaggerate by saying, that Minigun is ultimate weapon in San Andreas. It can eliminate hordes of enemies and destroy vehicles in a matter of seconds.

9. Molotov Cocktail or Remote Explosive
a) Molotov Cocktail: Just like Flamethrower, it can turn your foes into smoking piles of meat and destroy everything, but since it can be thrown, it has greater range.
b) Remote Explosive: Guerilla style.

10. Fire Extinguisher
Does what is says.

11. Nightvision goggles
Not much to say here, it helps to see better in dark areas.

Fist - There needs to be a time where CJ isn't holding anything.

Slot 2:
Golf club - Brings back memories of VC

Slot 3:
Silenced 9mm - With every other pistol every time you fire all the peds start screaming and running around.

Slot 4:
Combat shotgun - Obviouvse reason - 8 Shots with fast fire rate

Slot 5:
Regular SMG (You missed it out)

Slot 6:
M4 - The AK bounces about two much when you fire.

Slot 7:
Rifle - I always wanted to use the GTA rifle without a scope.

Slot 8:
Tear gas - There are substitutes for exlosives

Slot 9:
Minigun - Sandvich!

Slot 10:
Camera

Slot 11:
Flowers

-Personally, but since I'm too lazy to go to Montgomery(that's the only place i know where satchels are), I'd rather prefer the nearby Molotov.

Slot 9:
Minigun
-My "vulcanizer"

Slot 10:
Camera

Slot 11:
Flowers
-I like blowing up cars with grass built sh*t
