Well, I just installed Vice city and the screen is wrong.
The screen is too big that I cant see the whole thing.

Well, I cant see my health, time, armor, wanted level or any of that.
When I load up the game, the rockstar games bit, it says rockstar games then ends 2cm after the final 's'. No space.

Im sorry but it is extremely hard to explain.
I'm playing on a windows xp home edition.

Well, its a bit better. If you look at any screenshot, you will see the whole display, the normal display. But if you look at mine, some of the right side of the screen is cut off because the screen is too big to fit my monitor.

Try installing the VC Patch

The VC patch was obsolete a month after it came out. NEVER suggest it.

@poikly: You can even be bothered to tell us HOW you fixed? What happens the next time somebody has that problem?

I've added the problem and the solution on page 3 of the bugfix list already. Hopefully Fuz/Spuds can post it on page 1.

Looks like his resolution was incorrectly set.

Isn't that exactly Demarest's point? - you didn't tell us how you fixed it.

Is this an accurate guess of the solution to your problem...?

Problem #31:
Well, I have just installed Vice City and the screen is wrong. The screen is too big that I can't see the whole thing. Even the HUDs are all messed up!

Solution: Try the auto-adjustment feature on your monitor. Also, make sure the correct supported resolution is set up in Windows' Display Properties as well as in Vice City's Display Setup before launching the game.
