| QUOTE (King Mystery @ Monday, Jan 30 2012, 14:32) | Maybe around $100. I don't really want to spend too much (I don't have much to spend anyways, lol). |
Here's a good complete builder, and run by my local skateshop (who are awesome): CLICKI wouldn't change any of the default parts (unless you don't like the designs; in that case look below), and it's $103 before tax. If you want to change the deck, you have to find the deck you want, then from that deck's page, click "BUILD CUSTOM COMPLETE". IF you want to get more custom and want different wheel or truck designs, feel free to pick out different ones, but I'd stay within these lines:
Wheel company: Bones or Spitfire Wheel size: 54mm, give or take a mm Truck company: Independent, Venture, Royal Truck size: same size as deck, or closest without the truck size going over the deck size Bearing: Bones Reds, always Griptape: doesnt really matter Hardware: doesnt really matterBut if I were you I'd just stay with the default configuration, the designs will get wore down in a month anyways This post has been edited by LCstuntman on Tuesday, Jan 31 2012, 05:01

Sorry to bump this again, but now that it's summer, I've been starting up skating again. I've sort of got an ollie down, and I can kind of get a manual/nose manual. However, I need to work on my balance and getting speed... and finding a good place to skate. Over here there aren't a whole lot of skate parks nearby, and the roads by my house are ancient, covered in potholes and cracks and whatnot. It might be a while before I start up again though, because it looks like my board's days are done... I'm just surprised it lasted this long. Thankfully, I have a birthday coming up. I'm thinking about getting a Darkstar Falls when the time comes; it's cheap, name-brand, and complete. Here's the deck, by the way. I don't know what I was thinking, it's hideous, lol. R.I.P.
