Hey!

I made this handling line as i wanted to drift touge on Akina map mod. I tried to make it as releastic as possible. It's just about the right speed for drifting, it's RWD, and actually requires countersteer (unlike some handling lines i've seen).

I used it with some light referance to the handling lines included in the Silvia S15 D1GP car mod, so credit goes to them smile.gif.

CODE
URANUS       2000.0    1600.0   2.0    0.0 0.1  0.0  75  0.8  0.6  0.5   5 250.0 30.0 8.0  R P  9.2   0.65 1 50.0       0.25 1.5  2.0   0.03 -0.02  0.5 0.0 0.25 0.60 35000 40880004 0540840B 1 1 0

Place this code over the old Uranus line in the 'handling' file. Found in the Data folder of the GTA San Andreas directory.

Have fun drifting! Comments are greatly appreciated.

~Evo.

Worked pretty well with the 240sx I released (s13 version, original for VC by Sin4K).

Maybe some more turning radius, but then it'd probably spin out too much. Nice work nonetheless.

Can you explain exactly to me how to change the handling lines for cars?

Go to your GTA San Andreas folder (usually C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas, or something similar).

Then go into the folder called data, and find the file called handling.cfg. Open it with Notepad, and find the line for the car you want to replace.

In this case the code is for the Uranus, although you can replace any car really. Just replace the code for the car with the one in this topic.

BUT FIRST, IT'S VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT
Back up your files. If anything, just copy the entire data folder. That way incase you mess up the file you'll have a back up copy to replace it with.

Nice handling Evo, I tried it...and I'm ashamed to say drifting isn't for me. blush.gif

I can handle the Super GT, but this is impossible for me to drive. dozingoff.gif
