Q: What is Kamsterdam (Kdam)? A: Kdam is an Amsterdam styled themepark for Myriad Islands. Q: Where is it going? A: Lots 5 and 6 on GTI. Q: When will it be released? A: Sometime near Xmas '07 There's still a long list of things to do. Q: Got any more pics? A: Yes.       Q: That looks big! How big is it? A: Bigger than I expected, yet it's still only 10 .DFFs none of which are over 3k face count (no LODs as of yet). Here's a pic to give you an idea. Q: Is it all your own work? A: No. The lion's share of it is mine, but I'd like to thank mickarrow for helping out on a few models and for some groovy textures. His input has really helped me to figure out the whole texture direction. TRN4L is helping out with the shopping district. I'd also like to thank Team MI-IRC for help and suggestions. Thanks for the canal texture, ParoXum. I may well edit this post in the next few days and will, of course, keep you posted. locO G

Kolji: I'm going to make my own Kdam themed generics (benches, lampposts, bike parks, that sort of thing).I've not finished modelling all the buildings yet. lord fido: Kdam's already got a visitors centre. It's based of the van Gogh museum. Jorge F: Quite a lot of the textures are still rough and I've yet to decide on the mipmapping for each texture. There's still a lot of work to do. ParoXum: Sure thing. It's a very kind offer. Edit: I've started to finalise the map with a sea wall and some more buildings. UpdateGforce is in the middle of renumbering MI IDs With a totally new GTI, I've slipped Kdam in there...  As you can see, there's no NVC work yet. To do list...1. Finish the models (hello, T). Joke. 2. Finish standard/custom generic object placement. 3. Final Prelighting/VP/NVC/shadowmesh/2DFX/Animated UVs 4. Ped paths and bike spawns 5.
