Abarths are just starting to hit the streets over here. Seen one at a car show a few months back and was extremely impressed with how well built it seemed. Materials looked very high quality. I would take one in a heartbeat.
Speaking of FIAT: We need a new family car, we assume our FIAT won't pass EU regulations (M.O.T) We found out that we'd very much like a FIAT multipla!
It's not that I am doing well, I am just lucky. More of the Abarth Essesse:
Not bashing your car choice, but I'd rather the Mercedes that's behind your Fiat. No hard feelings.
I just don't see the appeal of the small cars AND French/Italian cars in general. What I'd like to know is why would anybody like them.
To Jaysteels - are you serious? If your family really wants a 6-seater, why not get a Honda F-RV instead? The design and reliability are much better in the latter.

Care to explain why you don't like them? If you haven't drove any or owned any then i guess you wouldn't like them from the first glance. This Abarth for example, i mean the design is amazing IMO. Only Italians can figure out such things...altough i'm not sure who owsn Fiat now

If you knew me, you would know I'm the last person in this sub-section who would go for a small car like the Abarth. But you know why its appealing? Because its f*ckin' fun.
The multipla appeals - It's MAD MAD MAD! I love it! It's crazy! Nothing but some good old fashion individuality to make you happy. We have a history with Fiat; Fiat 131 mirafiori Fiat 132 mirafiori Fiat Uno (in red) Fiat Uno (in black) Fiat Punto 5door Fiat Ducato Combinato (turbo)
We love fiat at our house (except dad who converted to toyotanism)
