So today I accidentally skidded/drifted on a roundabout in the rain! It was so smoothly done that it looked and felt awesome!

Luckily I didn't lose control and hit something

I had a very unpleasant situation on the road, where I was blocked from overtaking and almost had an accident. Stupid blonde driver in a 2010 BMW 520d, just decided not to let me through, even though she was driving at 30kph (20mph).

Apparently the fastest route with a ferry would take about 14 hours and 45 minutes (not counting traffic or stops). Also, I don't know what the hell costs of gas (or petrol or what you call it there) is, what your eating preferences are, how much gas your car can hold, and how iron of a bladder you have. So I really have no idea what costs will be, you find that out yourself.

Anyhoo, driving through Sweden and over the Danish islands would take longer. The fastest route possible, would take 20 hours and 44 minutes, and you still have to take a ferry. It is absolutely impossible to avoid them, unless you want to drive through Finland, Russia, the Baltic states, Poland, and then Germany on the way.

So maybe you should just take the ferry if you want to get there in a time limit.

It's more of a roadtrip. The costs I had in mind were tolls and ferries

I did Gothenberg Airport to France in one shot a while back. It was a solo journey of about 1400 km. Took me 12 hours in a Sprinter van. It wasnt fun and I wouldnt recommend it.

Also I did Oslo to Spain in a solo trip a few years back in a rented Toyota. That took 3 days over 2800km, a bit more chilled. However one thing I did do that I recommend is the Gothenberg-Kiel Ferry. Its a good overnight option, your gonna have to sleep somewhere. It also saves time and gas money. You might also want to consider the Oslo-Kiel crossing. Like LSP says, you have got to take a ferry at some point, and bridges and tolls and gas all adds up. You are better off getting it over in one boat ride where you can get some sleep, a decent meal and knock back a few danish elephant beers.

Drive Stavanger-Oslo 500km, overnight on the ferry day one.
arivve Kiel day 2, 500km to NL.

About 2 days easy travel time.

You could also get the Hirtsals ferry, but it leaves a much longer drive. It really depends on your budget. and how quick you want to travel.

What are you going to Beers for anyway? A few Beers? Sounds good.

Wouldn't just taking a ferry from Stavanger to Denmark and then drive that sh*t be the best?

Haha, nice one.

I dont know if there is a ferry from Stavanger. I think you can get one from Kristiansand to Hirtsals. If you dont mind the 1000km through Denmark, and Germany to Holland.

I like everything about it, except for the front end, it doesn't really mesh with the rest of the car.

Oh, lets add sound!

I LOVE how the rear end mimics the original Viper, but the front end? What... but... Why?

Front end looks a bit too alfa 8c. Overall, sounds pretty nice, the electronic aids don't bother me so long as it still lets you turn them off when you want. For day to day driving, and that kind of power/tq, they definitely make it a lot less lethal.

Glad to hear it just uses a freshened up version of the old 8.4. Such a fantastic mental motor. Nice to see it's still using a classic style tube frame as well.

I was afraid Fiat would have toned it down to the point where it was just a rebadged Maserati/Ferrari. Viper is meant to be a much more animalistic car. Hopefully, they do another stripped-down crazy ACR version sometime soon because it does look like there's a bit too much interior bullsh*t in the car now.

Looks pretty damn sinister in GTSR guise.

Also, Official spec sheet for the street cars.

The weigh more or less the same as what the original weighed. Not bad considering how much more sh*t they have crammed in there.

Double post, nigga.

So, now this is a very small maybe, as in most likely won't happen, but my godfather mentioned too my dad giving me one of his Jensen Healeys. I think they've both been sitting since 98, tops are both damaged and rain has probably f*cked the interiors. Both have the lotus twin cam with dual SU's that are tricky to tune. I think one's a 4 speed, and one's a 5 speed. One has worse body rust and has a lot more bondo on it than usual. Basically one's in better shape body-wise and one was known to have the better running motor.

So do I welcome in a little british sports car and end up throwing thousands at it fixing it up, or run to the hills?
