They did say “There are no planes because it’s just a city”. Which probably does mean it’s only going to be Liberty City. However there’s also a slim chance that yes, you can’t fly out of the city yourself, but you could be a passenger on a flight. That’s probably not the case, but their quote is open enough, that it is possible. Or Bogota could show up as Episodic Content at some point. They did say the content would be “the best you’ve ever seen” (quote from their conference call).

I forgot about the episodic content, got too excited over the game itself lol.

Peter Moore did say it wont just be a car but completely new hours upon hours of gameplay. Of course that was at e3 and who knows maybe told him what the content might be about.

Abandoned Subway stations is what I noticed. Even tho this might not be much it might be a clue to some random abandoned subway stations like in Liberty City stories. Who knows that might even be a clue to a mission. Heck the whole being chased by rockstar could be a figure of speach about how the cops AI will be. Add on the fact he keeps saying credibility is everything. Fact 1 each game you needed to have credibility, trust if you will, to be able to advance through the game.

Right ive red most of the first thread, and basically are people suggesting that this OBVIOUSLY FAKE STORY is a way of secretly telling us what we can expect GAMEPLAY wize in GTA4, because so far the BLUE CAR, the EASTERN EUROPEAN... the punchin the car windows to rob them,

THE GRANNY he pulled out flying further from the car to the floor then the ususal PED (showing pysics, dunno if any1 posted that but thats wat i thought of it)

He seems to know alot and the posts are all before any1 even knew a SINGLE shread about the game as the trailer wasnt out!... doesnt that tell you something?

I mean it cant be tottaly cowincidence about the car colour the way to jack cars and all that (this info was only just announced today)

If so the other things he mentioned like the ROCKSTAR goons and the helicopters could refer to POLICE OFFICERS, like the helicopters with survalence equipment could mean you can HIDE! and the police AI dont auto know where u are!

This could be a hint because the name of the second trailer is "Looking for someone special". Possibly a girlfriend overseas or a girlfriend that is recently departed in which he is unaware of.

Well from the first posts he makes about this 'story' its hard to believe that R* would go to this length? maybe thats just me.
But on the other hand he does put points in about where its going to be located and what not. but im not believing all of this, i mean come on if R* were that bothered about getting up my hype, wouldnt you think they would do it some other way? rather than posting on a forum.
Maybe Deepthroat should come back and tell us the truth. so we can all stop wondering.

Interesting read. I've read most of the first post and , from what I gather , here is my idea about the profile of DeepTroatGTA4 : he is a male, aged between 25 and 40 , huge GTA fan , big fan of espionage novels, talented amateur novel writer, and most probably working for R* due to the fact that the info posted by him was prior to the release of the first trailer. But I DON'T think he is working alone. I think R* is behind that and they are having loads of fun with this conspiracy theory thing. They even pushed the enveloppe further by posting a fake paper article on the dead commando. The whole thing is way too clever , but very refreshing. God I love these guys / and girls. Whitout having to leak much of anything, they keep us hanging in there. One thing I hope is that DeepTroat is majorly involved as a writer for GTA4, because he is a very talented writer. And if it's a collaboration effort, well I salute the whole team.
