| QUOTE (Paeron @ May 10 2007, 14:21) | I just think it looks like they have edited out the cables in the Niko image. All the buildings are the same and its very hard to see if there are fire escapes or not in the last image. So AleX AciD is still correct IMO.
EDIT: As for the edited image, they had to have their text somewhere, so they just blurred the cables out. Thats what I think. |
Ok, I could believe that. BUT.. Notice how low the bridge is behind Niko? If you compere it to this image You also should notice that the bridge is way higher than the houses around it. So unfortunately, I have to say again that in my very humble opinion, the thingie behind Niko is the elevated rail thingie, not the (Brooklyn?) bridge. EDIT: Hmm, something wrong with the pic.. Dmn.. But look at the pic where there is the train and the bridge on the background.. This post has been edited by YukiEiri on May 10 2007, 14:56

"Cherkov" building area: [/URL] |
Ok one more time. Try to keep up ok?? Look at the "port area" pic, you can see that the bridge goes on for quite some time after the buildins, straight and level and higher that those buildings. Also, there's nothing solid underneath the bridge. See .. nothing.. x) And then the Cherkov-building pics.. First we see Niko, behind him, a little bit higher than the smaller building next to Cherkov. Too low for the bridge. oh and you can see, that it's not hanging in the air, but it's solid, like elevated rails.. C'mon, they guy has done great work mapping, but still this one pic just does not add up.

Ok I will now officially give up, since you are so convinced that you are right. There is no point continue the argument. We will see who was right when we get our hands on the game. But I must point out one last thing of the pylons, on the other side, the pylon is on the water yes, but on this shore it obviously is not, like it is not on the real bridge. And Paeron: the "building" that you suspected the lighter part next to Niko's sholder to be. Did you notice that the lines match to the el-train/bridge, not to the roof line to the next building so it can't be another buildin but it is a part of the "bridge" thingie. EDIT: And I must point this out. There are exactly similar triangelish thingies sticking out of the facade of the Cherkov bulding and the building shown on the other pic. And that is a detail that makes me doubt my own opinion, but since I am convinced that the Nico-pic is from somewhere else, I will keep my head about that and blame R* for generic building design.
