After years of not bothering I finally got round to watching the documentary Biggie & Tupac. I don't know how it's viewed in the public's eye, how credible it is or how unbiased it is as a source of information for the murders, but it provided some cool archive footage i'd never seen before and some interesting conversations at least.

It reminded me how far back Snoop Dogg goes. With his recent material and public figure you forget he was on the sidelines of the whole Tupac/Biggie situation. It jsut seems a million miles away from where he is now. Man, Dogg got angry at that award show when everyone was spouting off on stage. I think the fans he's gained in the last 6 or 7 years would be shocked by the 90's Doggie.

Yeah. That documentary also amazed me in regards to Snoop. He was acctuly in deep with all that Surge Knight stuff. At ending where it talked about Knight and the threatening behavior towards Snoop Dogg was a big shock to me at first.

Of course, I then remembered the Eazy-E and Dr. Dre beef and how Knight had threatened to murder Easy`s mother.

Yeah I didn't know about any of that stuff beforehand. Surge calling Snoop an informant because he never did time for the things he was getting busted for and Snoop upping his security. Definitely a shock.

Surge was still in prison for the fight that happened on the night of Tupac's death. It surprised me how recent the incidents were to the release of the film. Took some balls, but that in your face, blunt and upfront style of documentary film making is my favourite.

Definitely worth checking out. I'm listening to it a second time right now. There's so much on this mixtape, you have to listen to it more than once to get everything. There's a couple of tracks I didn't like too much, but overall it's very good.

Ha ha yeah, I loved how the documentary crew were so british, and so different from everybody they were interviewing. Even the detectives. But they battled there way into getting some proper footage. And biggies mam was cool.

I thought Biggie & Tupac was pretty week. Tupac got killed because he was immature and stupid. His name was on the title for no other reason than to help sell it. What this is really about is Biggie's death, which is much more interesting. Broomfield actually fails to get answers in a few of the interviews here but one more crucially. In his interview with Suge Knight he let Suge waffle on about something unrelated instead of pushing him for answers. It told me nothing and may as well have been edited out of the documentary. The whole thing was a mess to be honest.

Another of his films is Kurt & Courtney. It's far better and very revealing.

Anyhow, Slaughter house, well that was a great mix tape. Busta Rhymes released the new album `Year of the Dragon`, it was mediocre, and thank god its free because I wouldn`t of bought it.

Good stuff, but I was expecting something else for waiting so long.
