Gents,

I have information that may be huge, I am about to relate to you an incident that occured this week. The information I am about to pass you could cost me my job if I was found to be passing it on, hence the nick name.

On Thursday 8th March 2007, at the bequest of a client, I was conducting a counter surveillance task along with my team in direct response to the repeated sighting of a suspicious vehicle in the vicinity of the clients property located in ManHattan, New York City.

Shortly after identifying the vehicle in question, the Team Leader decided a direct confrontation of the occupants was the most expeditious way forward. I, along with two others confronted the three male occupants of a 2005 GMC Suburban.

The Suburban was configured with an array of computer equipment in the back, a substantial amount of digital capture devices were mounted on the dash and the antenna located on the roof was similar to the small condan/tapestry antenna that I have seen previously on vehicles for tracking purposes.

The driver of the suburban produced credentials that showed he was an employee of Rockstar Games, my two other team members were satisfied and didn't realise the significance of the event, I opened the passenger side door and looked into the rear of the truck where one of the males shut down several LCD screens, but my heart skipped a beat as I looked at a folder on the desk which was emblazed with the "IV" official logo with the Manhattan Skyline clearly shown within the letters.

I tried to appear as calm as possible and walked away from the vehicle.

I'm sorry, but i doubt that any respected law enforcment empoyer would compromise their work of duty - for a personal interest: video game

Also, even though I have no clue in how games are developed, wouldn't it be a bit late to gather information about NYC 7 months prior release? Also that companies would use alias to their project names? Not actually GTAIV...

Oh well, who knows? Only time will tell...

Well that post is nicely layed out with proper grammar,unlike other members posts when saying there dad works for Rockstar and they nowthe location of the game and all the details but still I'm 50/50 whether to believe you or not.

Although I've gotta say I'm thinking NYC mabye the location of the next GTA, at least one of them. Dont ask me why though, I personally though Liberty City was as good as NYC, and even then, after The Warriors and Driver 4 havent we had a somewhat overkill of NYC in videogames?

Oh and also, a 2005 GMC Suburban? Firstly, that would be pretty hard to fit a person in the back, as well as a PC monitor, not to mention (unless tinted) people could see right into the back. Wouldn't it be easier to use a van or a Hummer/Lincoln Navigator?

This makes your post sound far more credible than most of the other 'Oh my God I found the answers to it all' guys' posts. Of course no one can confirm your story, and it could of course be made up, but for what it actually 'reveals', it's just not worth the effort to make it up.

I find it funny that people are even considering this. Some guy joins the forums and the first thread he makes is about the "inside info" he managed to get his hands on. He's got absolutely no credibility. Just because he use's correct grammar and thinks up a half decent story doesn't make this true.
Call me a skeptic but I think this is bullsh*t. He's probably laughing his ass off that people are considering this.

what difference good grammar makes.........if anyone tries to sell this with "yo i waz checkin out these dudes and them were like having thiz massive news like.........New YORK........" he would instantly get smushed then and there. With adequate grammar, it's even being considered by some people.

Some guy that uses a dictionary comes in here and posts a far fetched story.
Because he has no flaws in his grammar, doesnt mean he is saying the truth you know.
It just means he took his time for this joke.
Yeah is gonna start studying NY now, when the trailer is coming in like 18 days.
