LOL! I press "Start the Game" and crash

it all has to do about how you install it obviusly you installed it wrong or didnt used mapcleaner.

just check the following things before you isntall myriad islands.


- a clean and un - modified gta san andreas install

- mapcleaner runned once on the map where you want to isntall myriad.

- go to that map and check /models and delete gta_int.img

- then again check if everything is alright.

- then download or just install the patch from 0,5

- now you can start your game difficult uhm no it just takes some time.

We better get our asses into gear, GTA 4 is slowly creeping up, and there ain't gonna be no will to work of SA mods when that thing hits the shelves.

They're contained in the map .ipl files. You'll have to go in them one by one and remove the entries.

Aha, you found the FAQ topic

Myriad Islands originally started as a mod for Vice City, that's why you see all the VC screenshots. Since then, the mod has been transported to San Andreas and MI-VC is no longer supported.

i hate this!!!!!!! when i doubleclick the game shortcut, the spinning disc appears, spins like 15 sec, i hear some sounds from my computer, the spinning disc disappears and i wait like half min and nothing comes... but the gta-vc.exe is in task manager... this is sh*t! i need help..

edit: ok i found the problem it was my gta vc play disc i just need to start the game with install disc and wait like 3 min to play
