I've got a new image i want to make my signature. I was wondering how can i resize it to be exactly 500x150? I used gimp on the image however each time i would change the scaling width to 500 the height changes automatically to 255 or when i change the height to 150 the width changes automatically to 294. There is no way to get around of this problem i've been trying for the passed 30 minutes

I use a website called Online Image Editor (catchy name I know) which lets me set an aspect ratio for any image I upload - essentially, I could set the height for 150 and the rest of the image is resized to tailor that so I don't get a horribly outstretched signature. You could turn the aspect ratio off, so you choose the entries you want, but you may end up with a bloated signature depending on the image you're using.

Unfortunately, it doesn't meet. It's over-sized. The text under it makes it go over the 500x150 size limit. Here's a picture of how the signature looks in your profile, and what's wrong with it.



Do you see those RED lines I surrounded with WHITE? Those shouldn't appear there. As you see, the picture it's over-sized, but the space left between it and the text, and especially the text makes it go over. I've got though a solution for you. I've re-sized the image, and now you've also got space for the text. Simply use the code below the example of how it'll look like, and replace the whole code in your Signature Editing Panel.

No, it's still way over-sized. The maxim limits are 500x150. Here's a picture of how your signature looks in your profile and what's wrong with it.



Do you see those RED lines that I surrounded with WHITE? Those are the over-sized lines. The only way to fix your signature is to re-size it. Here you have it. Good luck.
