I thought of an interesting idea.

The Nexus vs D-Generation X. Think about it. Two loved factions in the WWE pitted against each other.

Here's how I see it. On your average episode of Raw or Smackdown, a group of guys dressed in black and green storm down the ring, sporting the DX logo on their bulletproof vests (spray painted on). They're wearing green masks and you can't see their eyes or hair, they're also wearing hats/bandanas. They're wearing gun straps (no visible gunt hough obviously, this is the PG era), military boots and cargo pants. They have a black and green armband with the DX logo on it too (similar to the Nexus one).

They keep assaulting old members of the Nexus (Justin, Heath, Mason Ryan) and claiming that the NEW DX is going to run this company. This brings out Triple H who calls them posers and that they're nothing. The leader of the new DX (We'll call him Duke), in a backstage segment, knocks out Triple H along with 2 other DX members (one is a high flyer, the other is a big guy) and wheels him out to the ring.

Duke grabs a mic and says the WWE isn't what it used to be. He says he started the new DX because it represents what it used to mean in the WWE back in the day, when we had ATTITUDE. With Triple H hostage, he says a new age will begin.

This leads Punk to reform the New Nexus again, but this time with Paul Heyman by his side. He recruits people he actually respects and others who have been held down in an epic tv moment. He calls for everyone who's tired of the way things are happening to rise up and join him or get the hell out of his way.

After the New Nexus is reformed and the new DX recruiting several new members as well, the two would war with each other over the course of months. Not only would this be an epic war, but everyone WWE doesn't know what to do with (Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, The Miz, Rey Mysterio, Kane, so on and so forth), would be on a team.

Eventually, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, Road Dogg, and Billy Gunn would come back and say they're right. They have forgotten who they are, what they did. This leads Triple H to throw away his tie and rip his suit apart to reveal the OLD DX logo on his shirt underneath and declare the era of attitude back. And if you AIN'T DOWN WITH THAT, WE GOT TWO WORDS FOR YA!

SUCK IT!!!

Followed by X chops, pyro, "Break It Down" playing, and the crowd going insane.

But that's just an idea. Probably never going to happen.

So WrestlingInc.com is reporting that a new partnership between WWE and AJPW (All Japan Pro Wrestling) could possibly have talent exchanges. Rumors are going around saying they might exchange Big Show for The Great Muta for a while.

On the surface, this sounds like a great idea. Except WWE has always misused, mistreated, and disrespected their Japanese wrestlers. Not to mention they'll most likely have to get them to dumb down their move sets in America.

Would I love more Japanese wrestlers in WWE, especially legends like The Great Muta? Hell yes. In reality, would it really work out? No.

Bad idea in my opinion, unless they somehow magically stop misusing their Japanese talent and don't water down their styles for American crowds. I've seen quite a few AJPW matches, all of them were GREAT. Very fast, they brought weapons in, there was blood sometimes, and they hardly ever botched any moves. The crowd was also very respectful, clapping whenever they performed a big move and watched silently without shouting obnoxiously.

I'm not sure which company Tajiri wrestles with now but I saw a few recent matches with him. Hard to believe he hasn't changed in the years he's been gone from the WWE. Still as agile as ever, and still doing the green mist.

He wrestles in SMASH. He was in a event with FCF here in Finland a couple years back and he was awesome there.

@MetalisticMCena, thanks for the opinion ^^

One of my favorites is Stone Cold vs. Triple H at No Way Out 2001. I'd post the videos to the match, but WWE is completely hell bent on making "copyright claims" on every single one of their videos, making the classic matches on YouTube almost impossible to find. angry.gif

Those two were just fantastic. Near fall aafter near fall. And then Ziggler won. Cleanly!

And aside from the fan running in the ring like a retard, Ryback actually beat the IC CHAMPION! Holy shlt! Then he appeared at the end and scared the shlt out of Punk. I'm pretty sure that's WWE hinting at Ryback VS Punk in the future. Not right now though. He needs to win smaller titles first, work his way up like he did with his opponents. Went from beating nameless toothpick jobbers (Except Stan Stansky and Arthur Rosenburg, the two most dangerous men in all of wrestling), to beat the IC Champion. Did anyone notice there were no "Goldberg" chants or "Albert" chants during Tensai's match? Maybe they barred anyone from saying it. Good.

Mick Foley's segment was excellent. Kane and D-Bry's segment was hilarious, and the rest of the show was just spot on. Definitely the best Raw of 2012 so far.

And it was great to see Jerry again. Considering he just had a heart attack 2 weeks ago, he looks pretty damn good.

That's their backup plan for Hell in a Cell. If Cena doesn't get well soon enough, it's CM Punk vs Ryback for the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell. That plan has already been confirmed by multiple sources like WWN.

Punk needs to retain then and give Ryback his first loss. As much as I want Ryback to win titles, the WWE Championship is WAAAAAAAAY too soon. That should be months or years down the line.

Although I'm sure it'll be a very entertaining match. Cena will still fight, no doubt. God forbid anyone steal his spotlight.

Hands down, that was THE best Raw of 2012 so far. Great f*ckin' show.

Quoted for the god damned moth*erf*cking truth.

PS CONTAINS SPOILERS SKIP OVER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW, CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO TAG THIS WHOLE THING. N'KAY.

Best Raw in a very, very, very long while, trumped the 1k episode and whole lot more. First the whole Truth and Vicki thing was just class, then Ziggler and Kingston put in a main event grade match, even got JR slipping that one in.

The whole Team Hell No sketches were brilliant, not only brilliant in the wrestling context, but that was some Grade A Saturday Night Live stuff (actually better cause SNL has sucked for years), Kane and Bryan are pairing off nicely.

PTP v Marella/Ryder, was an OK match, nothing much to add, except after catching up on the previous weeks action, the Tag division is definitely on its way up and if a Tag Team called Ascension make the step up from NXT then we are going to get a new golden era for Tag Team wrestling. Seriously try and check them out, their entrance theme and the entrance itself is fantastic and in an Arena setting... wow.

Actually here it is

The Miz and Ryback, minus the ring jumper, seriously trying to run a run a ring with The Miz and Ryback in... dumbass, but what a show from Ryback, hint of the future here... see the wrap up of this.

Barrett v Kidd, a bit of filler here, and a mismatch, could have got some better opposition for Barrett if they are thinking of the push. Shame to tar Kidd with this match, he's better than that.

Great to hear from The King, if McMahon got his head out his arse he'd realise that now Raw is three hours then the dream team of JR, Cole and The King would be perfect for the show. Let Josh Matthews, Matt Stryker and bring in The Road Dogg to commentate on Smackdown (minus Stryker, JM and RD they do a great job on Are You Serious)

Abertoe 'el Rio, Otunga, Rrrrricardo Rrrrrodrrrrriguez v Shaymoose, Cara and Rey was a good match if not a little predicable and got boring at the end when they had to get Shaymoose to brogue kick Otunga so they could play them out on his music confused.gif

Kane and Bryan, the vote to call them Team Hell No was good and the intervention of Rhodes and Sandow was good, their name sucks big time, but they would make a good team, something to give Sandow the rise up. On that note I'm liking Sandow more and more, he's starting to put me in mind of a young Triple H, back when he was just starting out as Hunter Hearst Helmsley, except so much more advanced on the mic, I can see a bright future for him.

Diva's Match was so-so, they could still do with more time and it's sad that we could actually be losing Beth Phoenix soon according to reports, she could pin me any day inlove.gif

Clay v Tensai would have been a great match, as hinted in the NOC Pre-Show, it's the Natural Disasters 2012, except Big Show came and ruined it, still to see if he's still going to be heel or is he slipping into that veteran can't be a full heel time of his career.

Now the whole Cena, Punk, Foley, AJ, Hayman and Booyahh!!... Ryback scenario. The start was the usual heel trying to bully thing and AJ came in to break it up and them having a tete a tete about texts, messages etc yada yada yada. This might lead to something to do with AJ's position as GM, but for them to scrap AJ as GM so soon after a couple of minor hiccups would be weak on the WWE's part, AJ needs to stay in the job and be given time. Then later on Foley calling out Punk was superbly done, Foley played that brilliantly and reaction was great and what was said was spot on. Then the final segment of Cena calling him out was brilliant, I'm pretty sure even Cena was having a dig at the whole PG thing (keep in mind only him, Vinny and Triple H can freestyle on the mic if reports are correct, everyone else has to script). The 'pipebomb' was brilliant even though in times gone by that would have been a head shot, the rest of that segment was pretty much to play...

...Then Punk walks out holding his stomach and then decides to smash in Foley... then... oh hell Yeah the look on Punk's face....Ryback. To be honest it may be a bit early to push Ryback, but then again they pushed Shaymoose early on and he's still living large (albeit boring).

Punk v Ryback is going to be an hellacious match up and a real Slobberknocker™ so looking forward to it.

Apparently the guy was trying to attack Ryback or something. That would've been hilarious. You're gonna seriously try to f*cking attack RYBACK?! You are out of your goddamn mind, you scrawny little toothpick. It would've been great if Ryback clotheslined him and smashed his head into the mat.

To quote Ryback himself

"STUPID! STUPID!"

Anyway yeah, whole show was great. If Ryback IS in HIAC, he shouldn't win it. Not yet. Let him win mid-card titles first, then work his way up. IC, US titles are good firsts. Then work up to World Heavyweight. Then eventually the WWE championship.

A thank you.

I agree Ryback (although I'd love it) shouldn't be the WWE champion just yet, what I do think would happen if Ryback does go in for the Main Event against Punk is that it should be a bruising match really call it by its title a real Hell in a Cell, and because Punk is playing the heel, they should go for the dusty finish again and screw Ryback out of the title chance. Simply because it would further Punks heel persona and would boost Rybacks standing with the fans. But to be honest it's as if they are kinda hinting that Cena will make the last minute entrance to the HIAC and dump Ryback out of the chance, but I think they really should give the shot to Ryback, unless they go for the Cena helps Ryback to screw Punk out the title so Cena stick to his promise of being at HIAC, then Ryback will drops the title back to Punk at the Survivor Series. It would give Ryback a taster of a title reign and keeping in mind that WWE are over hinting at the amount of days Punk has held the title, just like they over hyped the MITB holder cashing in every time before Cena lost it.

Then again, I know Ryda you'll love this, how about Ryback for WWE champion and he holds that until the Rumble and then he squares off against The Rock, now that would announce Ryback to the world. Imagine Ryback picking up Rocky by the neck throwing him to mat calling him stupid lol.gif

I don't think "The Great One" would lower himself to such things. To quote Tensai's theme lyrics (in English)

"He is too great to be seen by people like you!"

CM Punk needs to keep retaining. Heel or not, he NEEDS to retain. What he said about Cena was true. He keeps getting title shot after title shot just because he's the face of the company, while everyone else in the back is chomping at the bit and busting their asses to get title shots. Works sort of the same way with Rock. He was great back in the Attitude Era, then left to go make big Hollywood movies. Now, he can come back whenever he wants to massive praise like he's goddamn Jesus and get title shots whenever he wants. It's f*cking bullshlt.

Know what else I noticed? As soon as Cena started wearing pink, EVERYONE else stopped wearing pink. Sandow, Ziggler, and others who have worn pink just stopped because Cena started wearing it. I mean just...wow, man.

Speaking of Cena, something funny happened in WWE '12. So I'm kicking Cena's ass with my CAW and I use my finisher like 4 times, and my signature 6 times. I use chairs, tables, ladders, sledgehammers, kendo sticks and pretty much everything else. He's got blood all over his face, he's limping, and every time he gets up, I knock him back down. Out of NOWHERE, he hits ONE AA and pins me. Just like that. Heh. So even in video games, Cena still "overcomes the odds" and wins.

I still don't get Big Show's return. Entirely pointless. He bursts in right in the middle of what could have been a pretty bitchin' match (two juggernauts), and just socks 'em in the face. Making them BOTH look weak as f*ck. I'm sorry, I jsut don't buy Big Show's WMD anymore. You don't get knocked out from a tiny sock to the face. Especially when you're as big as Tensai and Clay.

And from the spoilers on Smackdown

He says he wants a title shot, beats Orton later. Becomes #1 contender for WHC at HIAC.

But even with that, what the f*ck was the pointing of screwing up their match?! Like I said, ENTIRELY F*CKING POINTLESS! Big Show just isn't cutting it anymore. He's run his course. He either needs a total makeover, new finisher, etc or he needs to go. He's become so boring, which is saying a LOT for a guy his size. If you would've told me when I was 12 that The Giant/The Big Show would get boring, I'd told you you were out of your mind.

But that's the sad truth. He's become boring. Although, I'll take him over Sheamus as WHC any f*ckin' day. Still can't get over Cole saying Sheamus was one of the greatest WHC of all time. I know you say crap like that a lot, Cole, but that was just f*cking wrong.
