| QUOTE (Notna @ Thursday, Aug 2 2012, 09:15) | | And Lesnar seems to be a real badass. I didn't know a lot about him before his come back in April but he's awesome too. If WWE wasn't scripted, Brock would simply destroy everyone. | Lesnar's a pussy... not that I'd say that to his face.
Not caught up on Raw yet as I've been having system issues, but spoiler alert for the Smackdown GM Booker T

| QUOTE (PrometheusX @ Thursday, Aug 2 2012, 17:27) | | QUOTE (Ryda King @ Thursday, Aug 2 2012, 17:22) | Randy needs to bring back his Legend Killer attitude and bring back his old theme. The whole "Voices/Viper" thing is retarded and boring. Better yet, use Punk's old theme (This Fire Burns) since it was Randy's original theme anyway, and start a feud with CM Punk for the title.
CM Punk is already kind of a legend. Let Randy kill the Legend. |
You have turned into a PG fan.
Orton for a title shot? Cena over Rock?? Come on man! | Rock is a sell out and Orton does have talent if used correctly. I want the Attitude Era back more than anyone but I'm just being realistic here. Plus if we like WWE and it's PG, do we really have a choice anyway? Plus Punk has had the damn title for 8 months, time for someone else to get it.

I get your point. I wasn't really serious though. Anyways for the WWE title I say Big Show. I'm pretty sure if he won it, he'll lose it the next night, or the next PPV. Rock/Show would be cool though. Well...CM Punk retaining? he has held it long enough. Cena? No thanks. SD was pretty decent. Sheamus finally starting to have some good matches. I'm looking forward for the next shows, since Booker T is the GM. This post has been edited by PrometheusX on Friday, Aug 3 2012, 22:47

Now I can dig that, sucka! Anyways, am I the only one who feels that Santino is going to lose his US Championship belt to Antonio Cesaro (or maybe, just maybe, "Mr. You're Welcome"), and the so called "Prime Time Players" are going to take the Tag Team belt soon? I hope not, but it's just a feeling I'm starting to get. This post has been edited by AlexGTAGamer on Saturday, Aug 4 2012, 01:04

That was an EXCELLENT Smackdown. I didn't know Booker T was the new GM, I avoided WWE.com or any sites relating to it incase of spoilers. I was expecting Edge as the GM. But damn! Booker T deserves it. Really happy he's the new GM. I can dig that, sucka.
And what an awesome show tonight. First match with Sheamus vs Tensai. Tensai is a friggin' behemoth. Great match. The tag team match was great, Ryback beat the shlt out of Mahal (and actually talked in his first promo) and got even MORE of the crowd to chant with him, and the rest of the matches were awesome. Randy Orton finally having some personality. I'm starting to actually like him.
And Teddy's the vice pres I think? Even more awesome. And Sin Cara is in Book's fav five, so no doubt he's gonna be getting more matches on Smackdown. Cody vs Sin Cara next week should be great. Just please, PLEASE, no more of that lighting. I can't stand that.
Great show, great new GM, great everything. Except the "Touts". Please stop, WWE. We don't care.

Well Smackdown was excellent I have to say, it was better than Raw this week (and that's with AJ being on it ). I'm kinda hoping now that Raw has lost the "Super Show" Smackdown tag that they are going back to separating the brands a little more, I've not been liking this blurred line thing. It's as if we're going to get more wrestling and less fluff, you know the kind thing we watch wrestling for in the first place.
I am however going to miss, regardless of Cole's beyond lame attempt at it, of Booker T's "Shucky Ducky Quack Quack", on commentary.

| QUOTE (Ryda King @ Sunday, Aug 5 2012, 14:59) | | Booker will probably still do that. He's the GM after all. WOnder who they're gonna get to replace him on commentary though. Maybe good 'ol JR? | That would have been sweet if he was introduced by Vinnie Mac he came out and said "Thank you, Vince, thank you everybody, now my first act as general manager is to fire Micheal Cole and replace him with...." <enter JR to his music>
Thing that I find stupid with Cole is that he was supposed to be the commentator and then someone else would be the colour commentator, like Booker T, Jerry Lawler and going back a bit people like Bobby Hennan and Jesse Ventura, but it's as if Cole has become the colour commentator and the ones that are supposed to be colour commentators are the main commentators.
To be honest Josh Matthews is doing a good job and could do a good job without Cole hanging on, so how about getting rid of Cole off Smackdown and bringing back JBL to the mic.

EDIT: After I posted this I noticed this on 'news' site JBL Teases Return | If Cole was out of there, JR, Lawler and Paul Heyman would be my ideal commentary team. Paul is one of the most passionate commentators I've ever seen. Cole is the heel commentator, totally biased and contradicts every word. Also an idiot most of the time. Jerry and Josh are the faces. Much as I hate to say it, Cole is needed there to balance it out. I really don't know who else could do a more annoying heel commentary like Cole. Speaking of Heyman, what the f*ck was with Stephanie calling him a failure as a businessman and a professional parasite? What a bitch. That guy worked his ass off for ECW and WCW. He's one of the most dedicated guys in the business. And then she says "don't talk about my family and children", then insults him, his family, and children. What the f*ck? Does she not realize what a hypocrite she is? Even if that was scripted, that's total bullshlt and complete disrespect to someone who's worked his ass off for them and for wrestling in general. He wasn't handed the keys to the company and gets anything he wants if he pouts enough like Stephanie. Seriously, I hate that bitch.

Seriously, I hate that bitch. | I'm pretty sure Gareth would disagree. I guess it was scripted, and not really a good one, but I can't think of any better way to bring Stephanie into that part.

I guess it was scripted, and not really a good one, but I can't think of any better way to bring Stephanie into that part. | Of course it was all scripted, but apparently Stephanie and Paul hated each other a away back when they were working creative for Smackdown, it was one of those 'they hate each other but don't know why' kind of relationships. Yes there was respect there, but they couldn't be in the same room.
But I loved that little shrug'n'smile Steph gave to hubby during that piece...
Giggity shucky ducky giggity quack quack goo.
EDIT: Just catching the start of RAW, and it's new titles.

I respect nothing about Stephanie. She didn't work for it or earn it like Paul did. She was just handed everything because of her dad. I like Vince, even though he's a bastard, but his daughter is worse. | QUOTE | | But I loved that little shrug'n'smile Steph gave to hubby during that piece... |
You mean the "I'm a rich bitch and I can do anything I want so oh well" look? Then it's funny, she beats up on Paul becase he's telling the truth about her kids then when Brock Lesnar comes out, she runs away. Oh we can beat up Paul but we gotta run away when big 'ol Brocky comes out. Speaking of Brock Lesnar, I read on bleacherreport he got into a major backstage fight with Ryback which resulted in his red eye. Some of it doesn't add up though so I don't think it's true. He's had that for a while and it dates back further than the day they claimed to have fought. And they said he had to get stitches in his eyebrow and there are none. My guess is he popped a blood vessel when he was lifting weights. That happens when you strain too hard. And as big as he is and seems to get bigger and bigger, that's probably what happened. So anyway onto last Raw. It was pretty good, just not as good as Smackdown was imo. I was really surprised Alex Riley got the win over Ziggler but I guess that was just to fuel Jericho and Ziggler's feud. F*cking bullsh*t what Cena did to him. HBK coming back was cool. Brock looked like he was ready to slaughter him at any second. He's like Ryback or Ultimate Warrior, he gets that crazy ass animal look in his eyes. Rey Mysterio vs Punk was good. Great seeing Rey back. Ryback vs Rek'Ins was pretty good. Ryback finally working his way up the food chain. Speaking of food, Ryan Reeves (Ryback) eats 10 large meals every day and apparently, according to guys who know him, he just doesn't stop eating. He eats all the time. 10,000 calories every day. O_O Randy Orton vs Big Show was good too. I'm actually rooting for Randy now. I found myself singing his entrance theme and saying "RKO him!". Ha, never thought I'd ever say that. He just needs a bit more personality and he's showing it. Primo & Epico are faces now, I guess. Darren and Titus being the new heel tag team. They should get the Uso's involved and have a 4 way feud going on. That'd be awesome. Sandow beating the shlt out of the Dumbf*ckasaurus was awesome. People actually cheered when he said "You did this to yourself, Brodus!" Sheamus taking Berty's car was alright. Reminds me of Kofi smashing Orton's car back in 2009 and dumping paint on it. Kane vs Miz was whatever and Cena vs Bryan I don't even care about. Overall good show but Smackdown was better. Oh yeah, who's everyone voting for in Brock vs Triple H? I'm honestly voting for Brock but even if he doesn't win, it's gonna be a hell of a match.

How about another Show/Henry feud, but this time over the WWE championship? I'd like to see that again. Also I'd like to see Show/Rock at RR, I'm pretty sure it'll be better than Cena/Rock.
