Thanks, Chong smile.gif what have you been up to recently? I havent seen that much posted from you the last month or so if I remember correctly.

another update on my car. I've started to add textures just to see roughly what it will look like later (it isnt properly UV-mapped. I just slapped a few generic textures on it that I'll edit later on)
Click me, here be cookies!

lol i had a break for a couple of months, i just got back onto modding again the other day, and finished this: tounge.gif

hm... it looks like you missed some shading/specularity on the rear wheel there. other than that it looks pretty good.
would be quite cool if it was amfibian and was just as fast in the water as on the road, if not faster in the water.

EDIT: last update before I go to bed: Started UV-mapping the current parts. it's looking better already smile.gif

Haven't posted in here for a while, so I might as well return here by showcasing something I've been playing around with.
Still WIP.

New Sabre.

user posted image

Additions/Changes

• New Wheels (From Rhapsody).
• New exhaust and exhaust position (From Slamvan).
• New Engine component (From Slamvan).
• Bonnet/Hood scoop (2 variations, both from Sabre GT).
• Front & Rear bumpers slightly transformed.

If there's anything you guys have in mind that I could add, feel free to post your ideas and let me know what you think.

looks sweet. I wonder what it would look like if you could fit the roof and rear from the Ruiner on it. then it would look a bit like a camaro which, to me, is pretty iconic for the muscle cars.
out of personal preference I would like if the front bumper wouldnt be that thick, but that's just me I guess tounge.gif

@XTREME0235: Your new Sabre is awesome, it's a real muscle car in comparision with the old one.
Although i agree with CHILLI, the bumpers should be changed, they are a bit too much.

Thanks for the replies guys.
About the bumpers, there isn't that much of a difference between the stock ones and the modified ones.

Here is the difference.

user posted image

Perhaps the angles at which the photo's were taken give a false sense of what it actually looks like and make them appear to be fatter.

Additions/Changes Update

• New interior.
- Steering wheel badge changed to a Chevy Monte Carlo badge.
- New car radio texture.
- No longer a red interior but black and red.
- New RPM meter and speedometer.
- Steering wheel brightened a little.

as far as I know these slight changes do a lot. because of various illusions it will appear as quite large, even though it may not be.

so for the front bumper I would probably prefer those kind of "blades" that cover most of the bottom of the bumper, like a spatula where it looks like you will cut someone's legs off if you hit them.

And already started a new project a while ago, the III-Era Buffalo for iOS. Had plans for a police and a mafia version.

Thanks smile.gif

There is not much to it, just focus on the essentials of the model. For me, I like to make knockoffs of real vehicles, so I don't need to be 100% true to model and I can let my own ideas flow in.
Just keep it simple, not too much into detail. Sometimes I model some sections of the vehicle again, and try around with the positions of the polygons, to get a accurate shape, with less polygons.

Love them, really nicely fit into the III style, not many mods manage to keep the style of the game they are for like these do, keep it up they look great icon14.gif

Made this mod, the SkyBus, with Chong McBong today
It's turned out great, but is there anyone out there that can edit the animation files for the player entering?
